SeaWorthy Sunday: Ocean Trash Chairs

I think I want one of these! This ocean trash chair is made from ghost nets and plastic…. yes . fishing lines and it costs $100 USD. Developed in Norway.. those Northern Europeans are really innovative. The design firm Snøhetta and producer Nordic Comfort Products (NCP) created these deep sea green chair.

What a perfect chair for St. Patricks Day.

The plastic is ground down into pellets and and reused in this chair. The ocean plastic is sourced within a 12 mile radius. They should be available some time this year.
