The fires happening in Canada right now are a clear warning sign we cannot ignore. What will happen next and how can we prepare?

Syracuse, NY hit over 400 aq. My lungs hurt, I still have headaches and nausea even while staying inside and being prepared. For those who think this is some kind of political game, you honestly have no idea how horrible it was.

I’m in VA and we didn’t get over 200 here but I am an ER nurse and we saw a huge uptick of patients coming in for lung issues. Even those with allergies and no history of asthma/COPD etc we’re having difficulty. Fatigue, headaches, and rashes as well. Hopefully this will make people aware of how weather in other areas can still effect you and how important it is to make sure you take care of your health as much as possible. (And yes, I’m aware that not all people have a choice in certain medical diagnoses…I’m speaking about those that can be mitigated or treated with healthy lifestyle and sometimes meds.)
