Obama is 30 years behind a Blue Cross study showing that 15% of hospital admissions for people who drank and smoked were similar in cost to 85% of admissions for those who did not.

If people choose to ruin their health by smoking and drinking, that’s their privilege, but where does Congress get the idea that everyone should be tasx to pay for the bad judgment of those needing medical care?

They get that idea from Big Pharma. Big Pharma donates more than $1 Billion a year to re-election campaigns and as one U.S. Senator said, “They own us.” Obamacare is not about healthcare. It’s about prescriptions for everyone.

Everyone should be entitled to as much medical care as they can afford, but they deserve to know there’s an inverse relationship with health. The more prescriptions one takes, the worse his or her health becomes.

This is not rocket science. The body was made for self-healing and good food builds the body, but the chemicals brewed by big pharma are toxic to the body and sooner or later the liver, kidneys or immune system say, “Enough!”

Pharmacology is a false science as far as health is concerned. It evolved from toxicology, a study of how much of a chemical would kill 50% of the lab animals. We don’t like the word toxicology—pharmacology, pharmacy and medicine sound much better than “drugs,” but true be told, the game has not changed philosophically. A dirty little secret is there are NO long term studies to see what a drug will do.

We are the guinea pigs and those who take prescriptions day after day, month after month, do not have many years to do so. That’s the long term results.

The body is designed for self-healing. Cuts, burns and even broken bones heal if give immobilization. Disease conditions are reversible if we know how to cooperate with the body’s healing mechanisms.

If we were normal at birth and 30 or 50 years later we have a problem, we did it to ourselves by what we put in our mouths. Our bodies re built from what we give them through that common pathway.

An excellent discussion of drugs versus natural remedies was written more than 100 years ago with the description of disease as “ an effort of nature to free the system from conditions that result from a violation of the laws of health. In case of sickness, the cause should be ascertained. Unhealthful conditions should be changed, wrong habits corrected.
