Nobody is disputing the Illinois lottery result, Geir. Nobody. You don’t need any extra proof. The lottery number was 666. Nobody is disputing this. It’s just that any sane person can see it for what it is – a random number.

Larkin is toast. In the military, you can only object to an unlawful order given by your immediate superior. Commander-in-chief is more than a few ranks above Larkin, a middle rank officer.
Larkin has refused a lawful order “in the face of the enemy”. Technically, this is a capital offense. More realistically, Larkin will lose his rank and pension, receive a dishonerable discharge and, possibly, spend some time in the brig.
