26 Reasons You’ve Been (Or May Be) Droned

% of readers think this story is Fact. Add your two cents.

There is more than one way to be droned. The first way is when a drone fires a missile at you. This is the worst way to be droned because you probably would not survive the attack. Don’t believe it can happen here? The US Government has already killed four Americans—that they will admit to—overseas. Why not here?

Or you could be droned by a surveillance drone. If the drone is a small, quad-copter version that has to get close to you, you might see it. Heck, that sounds like an offer to play ‘dreet’ (drone + skeet) to me and I will hunt up a shotgun.
However, there is another drone-mounted camera that can surveil a small city, all at the same time. There are also small, insect-sized drones in the works. Will these lead to cans of ‘drone’ spray, like mosquito spray, for sale in the local big box store?

Being droned is, or will soon become, ubiquitous. And with improved facial recognition systems and increasing electronic data storage, the powers that be and big business will know what you are doing and where you are most of the time. Let’s hope the drones stay unarmed—but I doubt it, knowing how power corrupts.

So here are the top 25 reasons you may be droned.

    1.    You believe the Constitution of the United States is, and should be, the law of the land. The powers that be seem to believe that the Constitution just gets in the way of them controlling the people.  So if you are a Constitutional supporter, you scare them.
    2.    You are an Armed Services veteran, especially a combat veteran.  Why?  Because the powers that be are afraid of you. Yes, that’s right, they are afraid you will use the skills you learned in our military against them because they know that they are not doing what is best for America, no matter how much they might lie about it.
    3.    You believe in the Second Amendment and your right to own a gun. Again, the powers that be fear an armed rebellion. If they were doing what was right for America, they would have no fears of armed rebellion. “Gun control is not about guns, it’s about control.” Adolf Hitler
    4.    You have a garden and raise some of your own food. If you raise your own vegetables, you are a threat to the customer base of some of Congress’ big business cronies. The powers that be also know that only dependent and helpless people need government, and hence vote for big government, so, with your postage stamp garden, you scare them.
    5.    You are a Christian.  If you are a Christian, you scare them deeply because you answer to a higher power and that means they can’t control you.
    6.    You ever voted conservative. Vote conservative just once and be their enemy forever. Why? Because you have demonstrated that you don’t swallow their twisted logic and lies.
    7.    You don’t trust the government. Neither did the Founding Fathers, so you are in great company.
    8.    You like raw milk. The attack on raw milk is just more nanny state behavior. However, nanny state behavior is designed to condition people to acquiescing to any decision made by the powers that be.
    9.    You save your own garden and/or (Heaven forbid) crop seeds. Gosh, campaign donations to high-ranking politicians from big agricultural corporations might decrease, or even cease, if they don’t have market dominance.
    10.    You don’t need or want big government. Darn, another sign of that dratted self-sufficiency which means you won’t vote for them.
    11.    You want to educate your own children. This scares the powers that be because they want to train your children to be good little sheeple and not raise them to be accurate and critical thinkers as you want to do.  In other words, the the powers that be do not have the best interests of your children in mind—but that’s probably not a surprise.
    12.    You believe political correctness is destroying the country. If you think that we should hire the best person for the job, no matter the race or minority, then you scare the powers that be. They wish to place people who they can control into positions of influence—not necessarily the best person for the job. By the way, if you think it should always be the best person for the job, you are not racist. Racism is requiring quotas and inhibiting honest competition.  When someone is placed into a position for which they are not really qualified, they are controllable by the powers that be because they can lose that job at any time.  Unfortunately, it seems to have been far too easy for the powers that be to inoculate the workplace with political correctness. Not enough people think accurately and critically these days. Another conspiracy, or just the result of putting lesser qualified people in positions of influence and power?
    13.    You believe the ethics of the ‘ruling class’ is flawed. If you think stealing, lying, and immoral behavior is bad, then the powers that be don’t want you judging them. It is much easier for them if they do not have to keep their bad behavior secret.
    14.    You value people over money. People who value other people over money are not as easy for the powers that be to manipulate because they lack greed. Greed may well be the most effective tool for controlling people and populations in the powers that be’s arsenal.
    15.    You raise chickens, and/or other small or large livestock for your own food. Again, that specter of self-sufficiency just plain scares them.
    16.    You feel that charity should be local instead of centralized, huge, bureaucratic, and wasteful. The powers that be do not like your attitude because you might just realize they are using your money to buy themselves votes.
    17.    You believe that forced redistribution of wealth is theft. If you believe this, the powers that be understand, that if you know what they really do with the money they obtain from people at the point of a gun, you will oppose their agenda.
    18.    You do not think it is necessary to allow illegal aliens to compete for American jobs. Wow, this is a big one. The powers that be want illegals to be able to vote for them in return for welfare benefits. They don’t care if you, or someone you know loses their job.
    19.    You do not like the export of American jobs. There are two things involved here. The powers that be like money more than people, so cheaper overseas labor delights them. Secondly, the weaker the country—and sending jobs overseas weakens our country—the easier they believe the people are to control.
    20.    You do not believe that congress should make any law that exempts themselves from the laws that affect us. The powers that be believe that they are the elite and above the laws of the masses. How dare you think otherwise.
    21.    You do not believe that government should make it difficult for small business. In recent years, there have been a plethora of new, nanny state rules, seemingly designed to destroy small business initiative in America. For example, in the state where I live, it has become illegal to sell anything baked in a home kitchen. How absurd. This is the traditional path for extra money for American families and the path for small business startups that, in the past, have grown to provide many jobs in America.
    22.    You believe new laws usually just gum up the works and are generally unnecessary. The powers that be know that the more complicated the legal system, the more freedom they have, and the less freedom you, the citizen has. The explosion of legislation is about control, nothing more. It is not about doing good or preventing public harm. It is about them controlling you and me.
    23.    You criticize the government. Today, the powers that be can’t be bothered by a dialog with citizens. If that doesn’t show that they don’t give a damn about the people, I don’t know what does.
    24.    You legally protest the government. Hey, attending a protest against the government almost guarantees you a visit from the FBI or being exposed to police brutality. Is this the powers that be’s way of suppressing the First Amendment?
    25.    You practice free speech as guaranteed by the First Amendment. Will you soon wind up in a FEMA labor camp because you criticized the government in the presence of a neighbor who turned you into the ‘Hear Something, Say Something’ program?
    26.    You believe in internet freedom. The internet, which allows almost instantaneous communication between citizens, is the single largest threat to illegitimate governments in the history of mankind. For this reason alone, it should never come under government control or surveillance.  The internet is a tool for freedom which is why illegitimate governments fear it and are striving to control it.

Make no mistake, the powers that be are afraid of true americans and what we stand for, but they want us to be afraid of them. “Fear is the foundation of most governments.”  John Adams, Second President of the United States of America.  The powers that be try to use fear to control us.

The powers that be know something that Stanley Milgram eloquently expressed in his book, Obedience to Authority

“ordinary people, simply doing their jobs, and without any particular hostility on their part, can become agents in a terrible destructive process. Moreover, even when the destructive effects of their work become patently clear, and they are asked to carry out actions incompatible with fundamental standards of morality, relatively few people have the resources needed to resist authority.”

That means that the powers that be find it all too easy to leverage their control of the people by using simple human nature.

Face it, nowadays, if you are a true and loyal American, you have a chance of being droned, in one way or another, by the powers that be.  The question is what are we going to do about it?

Public pressure does work to some extent.  Note the recent inability of Congress to pass more gun control laws.  We The People spoke and just enough in Washington DC listened.  But, make no mistake, they did not back down because they cared about us.  They backed down because they only care about themselves; their jobs, their fortunes, their skin.

If we are to win our America back, we need to remember that the powers that be care only about themselves, their fortunes, their power, and their skins.  Only by remembering this principle and using it, nonviolently we hope, can we win.

What would you do if the powers that be tried to kill you with a drone?  A new novel, Drone Wars: The Beginning explores this theme.  Read it and you might learn a thing or two.

A reviewer on Amazon said:

“This is a great read, Once I started I found that you could not put this book down. The characters are genuine like people you may know. I’m looking forward to the sequel. If you liked William W. Johnstone The Ashes series I know you are going to like this.”
