There really WAS a guilty verdict… Trayvon Martin is GUILTY of Aggravated Assault… As self-defense IS justifiable homicide. I wonder IF Trayvon Martin would have been brought to JUSTICE for his actions that night.

#1 – George Zimmerman not guilty.

The “implicit” verdict you suggest does not logically follow. The jury did not find that Zimmerman had not committed second degree murder or manslaughter. The prosecution did not present evidence to convice the jury that Zimmerman had committed the crimes. The jury felt that reasonable doubt remained, and so the required verdict was “not guilty.” In United States criminal proceedings “we’re not sure” goes to the defence.
