Egyptians have been talking about this day for many weeks – the opposition vowing not to leave until Mr Morsi steps down and calls early presidential elections, our correspondent in Cairo says.

But his supporters point out that Mr Morsi was elected and say he should see out his full term in office, so there is a real split in Egyptian society at the moment, he adds.

CLerics at the highest islamic educational institute said that Egypt was heade for a civil war even. That is how split the country is right now and why today’s protests are so important and tense. Dozens of smaller ones in the days leading up to today have killed 7 including an American and wounded over 600. Pro-Morsi protesters have even gone so far as to form ‘militias’ to ‘protect’ themselves from the anti-Morsi protesters. Stay tuned, whatever happens, it starts today. -Mort

Obama gave Mr Morsi and his rabid “Muslim Brotherhood” gang of murderous thugs billion$ of American taxpayer funded fighter jets. What does that say about tyrant Obama?
It’s obvious, Obama is a fan of rabid theocratic Islamic dictatorships, an enemy of Americam taxpayers, and a tyrant to American values. Did anyone here, antyone you know, vote for this outrageous gift? No. Obama is a terrorist.
