United States Army — From the Future Attack Reconnaissance Aircraft (FARA) program comes the Bell 360 Invictus helicopter, capable of cruising at speeds in excess of 205 miles an hour.
United States Air Force — Northrop Grumman B21 Raider, a proposed long-range stealth strategic bomber and next generation of the B2 Spirit stealth bomber. It will be capable of delivering conventional and thermonuclear weapons.
United States Air Force — The Penetrating Counter Air (PCA) project will create the replacement for the F-22 Raptor and the F-15, a long range fighter to accompany the proposed B21 Raider long-range stealth strategic bomber.
Russia — Ilyushin IL-106 PAK VTA is a super heavy transport plane designed to fly at at supersonic speed while carrying up to 200 tons of cargo, and partially using renewable electric energy.
United States Navy — F/A – XX, still on the design board, will be the next model of the F/A – 18E/F Super Hornet fighter, expected to have sixth generation fighter jet capabilities
United States Department of Defense – DARPA’s Ground X-Vehicle Technologies (GXV-T) program is focused on improved mobility, survivability, safety and effectiveness of future combat vehicles, protecting the soldiers in their vehicles without piling on armor. Some possibilities currently being tested include using virtual reality systems to ‘pilot’ the vehicle through terrain, keeping the soldiers totally enclosed and protected within the vehicle. Also being tested are vehicles using wheel-to-track and suspension technologies to give the vehicles an increased capability to traverse 95 percent of all terrains.
United States Navy – The Boeing MQ-25 Stingray is the latest model from the Carrier-Based Aerial-Refueling System (CBARS) program. An aircraft carrier based UAV, these unmanned drones provide refueling for fighters over 300 miles from their aircraft carrier, extending the flight range of the fighters.
