US Militarized Police Provoking War Zones: Ferguson Blood, Tear Gas, Chaos. LA Protest Next?

% of readers think this story is Fact. Add your two cents.

In Ferguson Wednesday night, after militarized police have assaulted and arrested reporters, helicopters hover overhead, armed vehicles roam the streets, and rubber bullets and tear gas canister assaults are pounding peaceful protesters, who refused to move, resisting what appears to be all white American thugs in uniforms inciting race riots with military grade weapons deployed by the Pentagon.

Government Inciting Riots

Huge bangs and gas everywhere is how eyewitnesses have described the scene in Ferguson tonight, five nights after police shot to death a black youth, Michael Brown, multiple times while he had his hands in the air on Saturday.

People are choking and running in the streets where chaos marks the fifth night after the police killed Brown. The rioting did not start until Sunday night, after police publicly blamed the young man with his hands in the air where, according to his friend and witness, police “shot him like an animal.”

Police are firing canisters of tear gas in a peaceful and quiet neighborhoods where hardly anyone is on the streets. Police even fired tear gas at black youth holding a sign that reads, “Don’t Shoot!”

Police have blocked access to the cars there, according to Livestream reporters. People are locked into the area under siege.

“People are in shock” over being treated this way with tear gas when they have been peacefully protesting, according to the reporters.

“My right side is bleeding,” the Livestream reporter sais. “I got hit with a bullet.”

He later said, “I just don’t wanta get shot again, man! That thing hurts. Oh, my God, I’m sore.”

Police have been firing at other reporters Wednesday night, including a crew from Al Jazeera.

Earlier Wednesday, police assaulted and arrested two reporters: one from the Washington Times and the other from Huffington Post.

Huffington Post reporter Ryan Reilly spoke to MSNBC’s Chris Hayes on the phone tonight minutes after he and Washington Post reporter Wesley Lowery were released after arrested by Ferguson police. Reilly told Hayes he was never informed why he was being arrested.

Reilly said he was sitting in McDonald’s when a SWAT team decided to close it and ordered everyone to leave. Apparently he wasn’t leaving quickly enough, he said, because one officer “decided that he was going to help me pack and grabbed my things.”

Reilly was then arrested. He said the officer “used his finger to put a pressure point on my neck.”

Reilly did not discover: 1) why he was arrested, nor 2) the identity of the officer who arrested him, despite repeated requests.

The officer even “slammed my head against the glass purposefully… and then sarcastically apologized for it,” Reilly said.

Later, on Facebook, Reilly wrote, “And if anyone thinks that the militarization of our police force isn’t a huge issue in this country, I’ve got a story to tell you.”

In a separate incident in the small Pennsylvania town of Muhlenberg, when a house guest threatened suicide with a kitchen knife two weeks ago, he was not met by compassionate and skilled mental health professionals. He was instead met with a highly militarized police response.

Journalist Ben Sawn says that response “was more akin to that of a battlefield in Afghanistan than a mental health crisis in small town America. Sadly, this type of police response is becoming more and more frequent as the police state grows.”

Central MO Sheriff Vehicle

In a similar incident in the small town of Fort Bend, Texas earlier this year, Michael Blair was threatening suicide with a knife and police response was to shoot and kill him.

Over the past two weeks, police responses to the Muhlenberg crisis, to their killing a Ferguson youth with his hands in the air, and LAPD shooting to death a mentally unstable man facedown this week have highlighted America’s increasing police militarization. The latter two incidences also highlight how the militarized police force is provoking urban warfare.

In the case of the small PA town, the police entered and cornered the man into a bedroom where he then barricaded himself. At that point, the Berks County Emergency Response Team was called in to take over.

“Rather than de-escalate the situation using mental health professionals, the police doubled down on their high-pressure tactics and militarized response,” wrote Benn Swan at the Free Thought Porject.

In Ferguson, rather than call a town meeting where police could apologize and professionals skilled in could de-escalting violence, instead, their top officer blamed Michael Brown for being shot multiple times with his hands in the air.

Naturally, that accusation sparked the outrage and violence ripping the small mainly black community apart today.

Being young and black in LA is as much of a crime as it is in Ferguson, according to many LAPD officers, and to Facebook user Naemi Gil who wrote about the police shooting of Ezell Ford on Monday.

In the case of the LAPD shooting to death a black, mentally ill man, Ezell Ford, 25, in his back while he was facedown on the ground in front of an officer Monday night, it was as though those cops had read from the same warped training manual that the Ferguson police department had. The LAPD blamed the mentally ill man shot facedown on the ground for his death. It is remarkable that with the already Ferguson besieged for four days, LAPD made that statement.

Again, naturally, that reponse sparked more outrage and set the stage for violence there starting Saturday night when a massive protest is planned.

Will the militia arrive on the protest scene in LA as it is said they are doing in Ferguson? The militia’s frst words on its website are: “A well regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed. – 2nd Amendment.

Are police officers just that stupid or are they just that itchy to use their military weapons and training? Or, are they deliberately provoking civil unrest, inciting riots, as the US military excels at doing in other countries?

Whichever, their heavy-handed tactics are working in some circles, according to David Carson’s coverage of the Ferguson riots.

If the militarized police tactics work as well in Los Angeles this Saturday night as they’ve succeeded in Ferguson for five days, one might brace for an even uglier and more shameful scene in LA this weekend.

Inciting civil unrest is among what the US military does best.

“Inciting civil unrest is among what the US military does best.”
        BS one-liner.
Interesting that ‘democrats’ are the ones that keep sending us into wars — to save the world and also so to demonize those who that don’t like or can use for blame.
That’s some feculent thing that came our of the Peace and Freedom Party in the 60s — time to get up to speed with what has happen in America and the world in the last 40 years.
Quite a load to swallow, that the regime is good and the military is bad. That’s the game, Blame The Slave, sounds just like the party Party has you for a fan. Remember that when TSHTF.

First to stick their neck out and fight for justice which affects everyone = NEGROES

First to take casualties while the rest of us do nothing = NEGROES

First to talk big and hide behind a computer while others are involved in the fight = White Americans

No one here seems to “get it” that their generational crime sprees of looting, beating, raping, drugging, and killing are a “life” protest. The way they live their lives is a statement that says: “We no longer care about your version of society and civilization so we will wreck it any way we can because we don’t get to participate or benefit in it anyway.” “We’ve already lost all hope of a good enjoyable life so we are going to mess yours up.” Their whole lives are a protest, a revolt. How else can one lone single person at a time fight against the system that has enslaved us all?? They don’t have money, power, influence and when they are armed they don’t have much because in case you haven’t noticed: guns and ammo are expensive. So when you are poor, you are lucky if you can get a handgun or shotgun.

WHere’s the militias? Where’s the legally owned mortars and MG-42′s that can defeat body armour and armoured cars? Watching TV at home, that’s where.

This may have started as a “Negro” fight but this affects everyone. Do you really think that white people around this country are not mistreated by police? Remember the Occupy protests? Where’s the militia’s? Too proud to stick up for blacks? Too scared to risk a real fight? Too stupid to understand that this will affect white rights too?

Whatsa matter? Big armoured cars make you jittery? Some pee leeking out over there?

          @ MacAngheirr….

I might just be a Canadian, but I am a trucker that spends 5 to 7 days every week in the U.S. and I get everywhere, and I meet allot of guys and gals. White and BLACK, and you are absolutly 100% wrong buddy. I have met 100′s of really decent black guys, working hard, and worrying about thier family and future. Interesting young and old men and women from evry corner of the great U.S. all BLACK….yes I meet a ton of good white folk too.

BUT….I saw a flasher flashing a little girl in a park, he was white, and I have been mugged, by a white guy, and I was once near a robbery in a store 3 white guys there….and this last trip a shoot out and robbery, in Modesto….white dudes again…….

Yes there are bad black people out there, I think mostly because they are VICTIMS of thier CIRCUMSTANCES, they do what they have to for survival, BUT there are MILLIONS to one GOOD black people, and you sir are NOT A GOOD WHITE PERSON, you make me ashamed of my skin tone.

Deploying military weapons and training to Incite civil unrest, just what the Pentagon does best overseas for commercial gain. Why not in the US, too, now that American citizens have no rights anymore?

“A military dictatorship is a form of government different from civilian dictatorship for a number of reasons: their motivations for seizing power, the institutions through which they organize their rule, and the ways in which they leave power. Often viewing itself as saving the nation from the corrupt or myopic civilian politicians, a military dictatorship justify its position as “neutral” arbiters on the basis of their membership within the armed forces.”

I do believe this is what’s wanted – and check this out – how Israel is involved in Ferguson! /alternative/2014/08/ferguson-invaded-by-irsaeli-idf-3011192.html

        • TheBertMan

There you go again with your anti Jew garbage. Isn’t there just one thing in the U.S. that the Jews are not responsible for in your mind? By the way, that hat is so stupid. Sorry, had to get that in there.

      • jjohnjoni

Keep in mind that the Black Panthers have arrived, along with Al Sharpton. They encourage rioting. Most of the looters did not even live in Ferguson. For sure, this kind of stuff is Obama’s dream come true.

    • MrAnthony

Funny how your “story” doesn’t mention the looting, rioting, and Molotov cocktails. By failing to tell the whole truth, you are inciting racial hatred. Moreover, your false claim about the Pentagon deploying weapons there is absurd. Let me know when the Pentagon issues rubber bullets.

    • Patriot-2014

Ya know . . .I’ve never been arrested for protesting wearing a hamas type covering around my face . . . . screaming and yelling in the middle of the street. . . . .or acting like I just escaped from the nut-house. . . . .or breaking into a store. . . . .or looting stuff from stores. . . .or throwing objects at Police. . . . . .or burning a car . . . . .or turning a police vehicle over. . . . .or burning the local stores in my own neighborhood. . . . . . .or doing anything illegal and acting like a fricken hoodlum. . . . .just because somebody did something to somebody else.

I can almost guarantee you won’t see any High-Grade College students, Grad students, or business men and woman out there in this riot. Just the uneducated, uninformed, pants down around their knees, shirtless thugs out for an exciting night of “protesting.”

How do I avoid getting arrested or shot at, or knocked to the ground and pounded on by the Police for being involved in a violent, self-destructive display of idiotic stupidity?

I stay the F home and keep my fricken nose out of it. It works every time. Do you think Martin Luther king would be out there with these idiots in their so-called “PROTEST?” I don’t think so.

And where in the hell is Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton, Eric Holder, Susan Rice, or Charlie Rangel if this PROTEST is so righteous and warranted. Where is their physical support?

I’ll tell you where they all are . . .they’re home watching it on TV like I am. They’re not as stupid as the people in the riot. We’ll see them all after it’s over. They can’t make any money getting hit on the head in the middle of everything.

      • FScott

You just stay in your pen little sheeple and everything will be fine. It is the business of everyone who lives in that community, because they might be the next one shot in the back walking home and the stores they are burning don’t belong to them or do the owners live in there community. The only thing that surprises me is that no one has had the guts to take the life of one theses fine murdering peace officers

      • Pat

Easy for you to say. Their whole lives of criminality are a protest against the system and our definition of civilization. They know that if they create a “free-for-all” environment that if they manage not to get caught or imprisoned they might get something for themselves out of this life. They may be going about it badly but they are at least going about it. You are an ineffective “patriot” because you are only concerned about YOUR freedom and no one else’s. You’re good. Got your TV, a beverage, a comfy chair, guns maybe for your own protection. The militias should be out there to 1) discourage looting and innocent victim violence and 2) make sure the police behave. But instead pass the popcorn.

    • Mole Johnson

I live near Ferguson, most of the people you see in these photos are nothing but thugs.

    • Riding the Tilt A Wheel

Seems to me looking at all the pictures and reading all the stories, that maybe somebody is using these incidents to gain knowledge of riot control in the U.S.. The crowed has changed from black to mixed and the police are becoming more aggressive, like someone is looking for a fight. The idea of adding inciters to the protesters and heightened tactics by the police adds up to a war on the streets, something some would love to have happen, turning this into another Boston door to door without warrant search. Again, the government, how far can we go question arises.

    • Anonymous

Noemi Gil should get his/her facts straight. Michael Brown was shot in the early afternoon.

    • dexter60

There can really be no surprises when a regime of agitators and provocateurs begins a program of terroristic incidents — the forces put together for our protection are being turned against the populace as the people are a real threat to the survival of these empowered criminals.
Welcome to ‘the insider voting stage’ of the ObamaNation’s grasping for its place in the NWO, where there is no place for what we used to call a citizen and the eradication of what we used have as a government.
After one hundred years of decline, we find ourselves poised at the tip of the spear, to decide if we are going to be The United State of America, a free people, slaves or nothing at all. When the law means less than what is Politically Correct and our lives subjected to criminals of every stripe, there is no argument or explanation that will halt the flow of blood in our veins or in the street.
There cannot be 300 million victims of ‘crowd control.’
The idea of Martial Law as a threat by this regime now sounds more like an invitation to the dance, to be followed by a great barbeque and a beginning of the restoration of the Republic with a Constitutional respected at home and abroad.

Mz dupre, What you posted is exactly why these thugs want to disarm America. I can say that at some point and time the American people are going to get enough of this high handed treatment and rise up. When that happens it will get very ugly, very fast.

U.S. civil rights advocates aired their concerns about the recent Michael Brown shooting to the United Nations in Geneva, according to a press call from the organizations on Wednesday.

The group of activists presented to a U.N. panel in Geneva, Switzerland, documenting their concerns of U.S. compliance with the Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Racial Discrimination (CERD) treaty.

Just wondering….Did they mention to the UN their concerns about the Rabbi in Miami who was recently gunned down by two black men?

    • Bob DD

Shot him while he had his hands in the air? We’ll see what the evidence reveals? The F.B.I. under black Attorney General Holder will not pull any punches. If the officer acted improperly Holder will take action. The community needs to act responsibly and stop the violence and let the FBI do its work. I wonder if there are people who were brought in to cause trouble?

    • d.m.dailey

Well, it’s interesting being in St. Louis and seeing what’s going on from this perspective. Now I question ALL of the previous stories about the same sort of situation in other cities, because the media have hyped it up. It has become CRYSTAL clear the media want a race war. No one is interviewing the folks who live here. It’s mostly folks who are not from the area who are “protesting” and what not. The “journalists” who were arrested, one of them had the police called on him, since he had set up a mock office in McDonalds. McDonalds called on him, they wanted him out. Who saw that tidbit of info? We did here in St. Louis.

      • CrowPie

Why have free WiFi in a McDonalds, unless it’s okay to use it?

    • redroksaz

Just wondering, why aren’t you as concerned about the two black men who gunned down the 60 year old rabbi in cold blood in Miami recently? He was a father of six and was visiting a couple of daughters and his grandchildren. Why doesn’t the black community demand justice for this young rabbi? Why aren’t they protesting and burning down someone’s business over this? Why aren’t the blacks demanding these two cold-blooded killers be arrested? Answer me this? Listen to the news story below. This came out right after this cold-blooded killing took place. The media has since gone silent on the skin color of the killers. However, you will read they remember the color of the killers’ shirts!

I their is a difference between militarized police and the militia! The militia are individual citizens organized into groups for the purpose of protecting their constitutional rights. The militarized police, if they are really police and not hired mercenaries, are state employees who have obviously received very poor training to handle crowds. Since when does the so-called trained police have to resort to shooting unarmed people? That is plain cowardice!

they can’t wait to start killing people of color for standing up for their rights along with others that stand with them. This is the same attitude in GAZA–don’t forget there is a plan to reduce the ‘colored’ population. All black people need to wake up; you will not get justice in a white supremacy system—where is your land–where is your heritage?

    • winsome123

this is why when cops get killed–I don’t care.

    • d.m.dailey

This is crap. It’s a shame these stories are believed, I’m in St. Louis and what you are being fed by the “journalists” is a warped version.

Obama and Holder are behind the race-baiting to set the stage for martial law to be declared. Then Obama cannot leave office in 2016…no election can be held during martial law…and you can take it to the bank that dictator Obama will do anything to stay in control.
