Delaware in the national spotlight tonight
The debate tonight between Christine O’Donnell and Chris Coons will be the biggest media event in the history of Delaware. The town of Newark, DE and campus of the University of Delaware will be a madhouse of supporters, protesters and media from all over the world. The live audience at the event is under strict rules to remain silent during the debate. Although organizers of the debate threaten to remove any violators of these rules, I think there will be too many violators to enforce those rules.
I predict liberal Coons supporters will be the first to act out and will be met with an enormous response from O’Donnell supporters. The debate may need to be halted on several occasions to remove the rules violators. I wish I could attend!
