Ron Paul Gets Booed At Tea Party Debate?
This was his audience. He is their champion and there are no more passionate fans than a Ron Paul fan. So, why were there boos for Ron Paul– at the Tea Party debate, no less?
When it comes to common sense solutions, a return to the founding father’s intent for the American people and our Constitution, Ron Paul unapologetically stands by his beliefs. And, this conservative girl agrees wholeheartedly with almost all of his fiscal brilliance. He says what other politicians are scared to say- afraid that they will be branded as cold hearted and without compassion. I love watching him in debates and he brings very valid and valuable points to the table in regards to entitlement reform, personal responsibility and individual liberty. He says it all in a no-nonsense, matter of fact way and nothing seems to ruffle his feathers. All of this I admire, respect, and appreciate.
But, he loses me on his foreign policy. Or…his complete lack thereof. He takes a hard left and I go the complete opposite direction when this topic is brought up. I feel his views are antiquated, naive and downright dangerous. I say all of this as I duck behind the desk as I know the Ron Paul fans stand ready to lynch anyone who dares disagrees with their Champion. But, I wholeheartedly and with strong conviction stand behind that belief. We cannot be isolationist. We face a very different enemy than one our founding father’s never considered. They want to obliterate us and it isn’t because we have “provoked” or “annoyed” them as Ron Paul so simply puts it- as if that were true it would be a good enough reason for them to have attacked us on 9/11.
In reality, it’s because they hate who we are, they hate what we stand for, they hate our religious freedoms, they have no value for life, and they are ruled by a religion that is no religion- it is a political ideology hellbent on destroying anyone who disagrees with them.
Santorum confronted Ron Paul over this very issue during the debate. And to my surprise, the audience seemed to agree. Which makes me wonder if he stands as solidly on this issue as he believes that he does with his base. Not often do you see Paul’s feathers ruffled, treading on the defense, but we got a glimpse of that last night.

There is a reason Ron Paul feels the way he does and a lot of Americans who agree with him. When you’ve got Veterans out in the streets trying to get the truth out about 9/11 …it’s pretty obvious ‘Houston we’ve got a problem’. Our OWN government and our current foreign policies are what have caused the world to reject us as infidels and I can’t say I blame them.
