Something’s odd with this report. Either the household survey (one of the two surveys the BLS uses to compile this report) is way off, or the BLS is underreporting job growth in the overall numbers.
Weird that it would happen right before the election, isn’t it.
BLS huffily calls charges of fudging “ludicrous.”
That’s usually GovSpeak for “Oops, you caught us.”

Two days ago Obama sent his plea to the media after his melt down at the debate; ‘help me out’, is what he asked. Two days later we’ve got this absurd report – do the math. That suggestion is only for everyone NOT a democRAT; democRATS don’t know how to add or subtract, but they excel in division.
No one in their right mind should believe this. This report came out in an attempt to cover up for Obama’s poor debate performance….the timing is a slap in the face to the American people, especially those of us unemployed. The holiday retail jobs are being counted just because they announced they’d be hiring. Adding jobs that are not even filled yet is a ploy. The remaining jobs are most likely due to students returning to school and older folks taking those menial lousy jobs. The govt does nothing but lie about these figures constantly, but this time they are lying because Obama said he needed something to give him a edge. The very idea that they are touting unemployment is lowest in four years (since he took office) should clue everyone in. Funny how they forgot to mention that gas prices are at their highest since he took office….$5.69 a gallon in CA!
