Trump Clinches Nom, Sets Energy, 1st 100 Days Policies
Donald Trump’s YUGE Washington State win with 76% of the vote netted him 41 delegates, bringing his total to 1233, of whom 1153 are bound. On Thursday, widespread news reports indicated Trump achieved the 1237 required to clinch the nomination. This happened by delegates in Pennsylvania, and North Dakota pledging to be bound. The final five states vote on June 7.
Trump gave a significant speech and press conference in Bismarck, North Dakota that came on the heels of his clinching the Republican nomination. At the press conference, he spoke about energy independence, regulatory overreach, low taxes, Obama’s assertion that Trump “rattled” world leaders, and the possibility of debating Bernie Sanders to raise $10 million for women’s health charities. In his speech, he said America would be 100% Energy Independent, and outlined his 100-Day Plan, which includes rescinding all of Obama’s executive orders, and putting the Keystone XL Pipeline back on the table – with the U.S. taking a piece of the profits and lowering taxes. Trump said he would cancel U.S. participation in the Paris Climate Agreement and all U.N. global warming programs.
His campaign has been on a clear general election footing with a series of blistering ads targeting the Clintons on Benghazi, the private email server, the corrupt Clinton Global Foundation, and Hillary discrediting the women victimized by her husband’s sexual predation.
Trump held rallies in Albuquerque, New Mexico, Anaheim, CA, Billings, Montana, and Fresno, California. Soros-funded rioters killed a police horse outside the Albuquerque venue.
Marco Rubio – the man once reviled by Donald J. Trump as “Little Marco” and “Choke Artist” will back The Donald, will speak for him if requested and is releasing his delegates, if they are not automatically released. Former rival Rick Santorum has also united behind Trump.
The #NeverTrump movement continues to implode into irrelevance. The administrator of several Tea Party and Facebook groups joined rank with Free Republic and US for Palin in banning all #NeverTrump activities.

Today Donald J. Trump spoke to thousands at the Williston Basin Petroleum Conference in Bismarck, North Dakota after clinching the GOP nomination for President of the United States. During his speech, for which he received many standing ovations, Mr. Trump took strong positions to reduce and eliminate all barriers to responsible energy production in order to create millions of new good-paying jobs, use energy production to rebuild our infrastructure and our inner cities and to reduce our debt. Mr. Trump outlined an “America First” agenda offering a significant contrast to Hillary Clinton’s “Donor First” agenda that will make the special interests rich and continue to decimate the lower and middle classes. Kirschner said he believes the legislation provides five years of healthcare and compensation to 9-11 survivors who are on fixed incomes.
“He said to me that I’m not sure I can sign on to it, but what I will tell you is this, for your own sake, you should go to Israel, since you’re Jewish. They have national healthcare there,” Kirschner recalled of Cruz’s response. “I was taken back by that,” Kirschner added, saying he felt it was disingenuous.”
