US for Palin Ceases Operation
US for Palin began over eight years ago with personal accounts and a Google blog formed out of the need to defend Sarah Palin against leftist smear attacks and promote her accomplishments. We started from nothing and over the years grew into a leading Palin News and Support site. US for Palin and our top competitor Conservatives4Palin were the Coke and Pepsi of the unauthorized Palin support site world. US for Palin has broken many news items to the Palin community; we have compiled Sarah Palin’s Lifetime of Accomplishments in one easy-to-reference spot; commissioned a market research study on her effect on Alaskan tourism; conducted a History Tour; and analyzed her leadership potential, among other things. We have stood proudly with Sarah Palin these past eight years.
Sarah Palin holds a special place in our hearts for reasons that go beyond the political. She has given members of our staff truly special once-in-a-lifetime experiences that we will treasure and cherish forever. Not once. Not twice, or even three times, but in some cases 10 times or even more. As supporters, we’ve also taken issue with some things she said and did over the past two years, and we have had our share of disappointments. We dared to express them for better or worse. In the main, it’s been a great journey. We are humbled and honored to have been part of it.
All journeys must end at some point and a new one begins. Effective immediately, US for Palin is suspending all its website and social media operations. We will leave these presences online for historical and reference purposes, but we will not be updating them from this point forward.
