Notwithstanding the howls from the left or the “international community”, President Trump’s decision to leave the UN Human Rights Council is another positive step for which should be commended. In the below piece by Rabbi Dov Fischer in The American Spectator, he explains why the US does not belong on this council. All you have to do is look at the countries that sit on this council. It is a who’s who of corrupt dictatorships that don’t know the first thing about human rights.

Someday, we will need to face the decision of whether we even want to belong to the UN itself given its track record. More and more voices are now calling for the US to lead the creation of a league of democratic nations, where the Irans and Syrias of the world are not invited. It seems like a good idea to me.
