One Less Dutch Terrorist to Worry About

% of readers think this story is Fact. Add your two cents.

With the last remnants of ISIS nearing their end in the ratholes of Syria, one of our greatest worries is that many of their fighters who are not killd will find there way to the West. In fact, many actually originated in the West. There is a debate ongoing in Western countries (I don’t know why) as to whether we should allow this scum to return to our shores.

The Netherlands reportedly has some 300 of their residents who joined ISIS. They now have one less with the news that converted Dutch national Thijs Belmonte, from Rotterdam, has been killed in Syria.

The below article from De Telegraaf is translated by Fousesquawk.

Red haired Terrorist Thijs Belmonte killed on battlefield

Damascas: Red haired jihad terrorist is killed on the Iraq-Syria battlefield

The traveler was once seen in a public beheading video

The Rotterdamer Belmonte was one of around 300 Dutch travelers and a  prominent IS fighter according to the NRC, which writes that the report of his death has been confirmed.

Passport burned

Belmonte is one of the more well-known Syria-travelers. He traveled to the battlefield in 2013 at the age of 24. The Rotterdamer converted to Islam in 2005. Belmonte obtained military training and impressed in battle. He advised IS who from the Netherlands could be trusted and who could not. On Facebook, Thijs burned in Dutch passport. Return home? Him never!

National Terror List

The Public Ministry summoned Belmonte to stand trial for participating in a terrorist orgsanization. He was on the national terrorist list.

The family of Thijs, according to the NRC, doesn’t want to comment. Earlier, Thijs’ father confirmed that his son was in Syria.

Thijs Belmonte came in the news in 2013 when a photo of him appeared. In it, he posed in a chair with camouflage clothing and an AK-47 machine gun. The Rotterdammer was believed to be living in Aleppo. Belmonte spoke fluent Arabic and could partially recite the Koran.

His heavily pregnant wife later joined him in Syria. In the war zone, he answered to the name of Anwar.

There are two suitable outcomes for these rats. Either they should be killed or put in prison for the rest of their lives.
