Outlook
A strong cold front moved off the Carolina coast last night with an area of cold high-pressure building in today from the northern plains states. This dry and cold air will settle in today and last through the weekend. After a brief return to near-normal temperatures Sunday and Monday, another strong cold front will push across the area Tuesday. That cold front may bring temperatures colder than a typical January.

Weather Hazards
