Britain is shocked today after a shooting in a South London station house early Friday morning left a police officer dead. According to the report by The Sun, the suspect, who is not named, was “known to the terror police”. The victim has been identified by other news outlets as Matt Ratana (54).

Here in America, we see way too many killings of our police officers, but they have historically been rare in the UK. Times are changing, however.
