Anti-Asian violence recently has spiked in New York City, WABC said, adding that there have been 54 verified cases so far in 2021 compared to 12 during 2020:

• It was reported last week that the NYPD arrested a man they said was responsible for three attacks on Asian Americans in Brooklyn, and police charged him with hate crimes.
• Two New York City apartment doormen lost their jobs last week after failing to help an elderly Asian American from a vicious March attack caught on video.
• Also last month, an Asian American woman running for NYC council said she was shoved on a subway stairwell and sprained her ankle.
• A hate crime suspect was accused in March of threatening an Asian woman, smashing her cellphone, and telling her “go back to China.“
• Another hate crime suspect was arrested last month for allegedly punching an Asian woman twice in the face in front of her 7-year-old daughter as they were on their way to rally — against violence toward Asians.
• A witness said an attacker yelled “you motherf***ing Asian” at a 68-year-old man before punching him in the face on a subway train last month.
• A man urinated on an Asian woman aboard a subway train in March, police told the New York Post.
• A 61-year-old Asian man was slashed across his face on a subway train as he was riding to the first of his two jobs in February. He had asked the suspect to stop kicking his backpack.

San Francisco’s hidden truth is out. That’s what community organizer Carol Mo calls the realization that Asian residents are being targeted for robberies, burglaries and intimidation by young black men.

Indeed, it has been ten years on and SF has done nothing to quell the culture of violence and racism that permeates Black culture.

For example, the past few weeks have seen a rash of black on Asian violence exemplified by one man crime wave, Yahya Muslim.

In fact, an epidemic of Black violence is being directed against: Asians, Jews, gays, Muslims and Hindus. And, even white people who leaders are telling us must now be hunted down like al Qaeda, and ISIS.

OAKLAND, Calif. (KRON) – Today at a news conference that was originally intended to publicize a $30,000 award being offered in the case, Oakland’s brand new police chief was able to tell the media and Chinatown residents that the case is closed.

Police arrested the suspect tied to a string of Chinatown assaults, including one showing a 91-year-old man pushed to the ground in a now-viral video.

Chief Armstrong also says he is beefing up resources in the city ahead of the Lunar New Year next weekend.

“Today we’re sending a message to those who commit crimes in the city that we will pursue you, and we will arrest you. It is not acceptable for things like this to happen in our community.”

On Monday, police identified Yahya Muslim as the suspect of the three attacks and arrested him. He is currently in custody at the Santa Rita Jail.

KRON4 received the shocking video showing a man in black hoodie shoving the elderly man to the ground.

The video of the elderly man’s brutal assault attracted nationwide attention, prompting Asian actors Daniel Wu and Daniel Dae Kim’s involvement. The pair offered a $25,000 reward for information leading to an arrest.

The attacks happened near 8th and Harrison streets on Jan. 31, according to court documents released Monday.

The 91-year-old suffered lacerations, abrasions, and a contusion to his thumb.

The second and third attack involved a couple who also suffered injuries.

Muslim was placed on a psychiatric hold the day after the attacks.

“With Lunar New Year quickly approaching in just two weeks, the OCCC and the Chinatown NCPC urge the Oakland Police Department (OPD) and Alameda County Sheriff’s Office to increase law enforcement presence during this very important cultural event,” OPD said in a statement.

An investigator from the DA’s office is looking into the case, so it’s possible hate crime charges could come at a later date if warranted.
