Tim Scott Versus Liberal Racists

Senator Tim Scott (R-SC) came through at the plate in his response to Biden’s neo-Marxist speech yesterday. He appealed to sane moderates, a demographic the Democrat Party has abandoned in its lurch to the left. His reaction to Biden et al.’s critical race theory ideology was solid:

When America comes together, we’ve made tremendous progress, but powerful forces want to pull us apart. A hundred years ago, kids in classrooms were taught the color of their skin was their most important characteristic, and if they looked a certain way, they were inferior. Today, kids are being taught that the color of their skin defines them again, and if they look a certain way, they’re an oppressor.

From colleges to corporations to our culture, people are making money and gaining power by pretending we haven’t made any progress at all, by doubling down on the divisions we’ve worked so hard to heal. You know this stuff is wrong.

Hear me clearly: America is not a racist country. It’s backwards to fight discrimination with different types of discrimination, and it’s wrong to try to use our painful past to dishonestly shut down debates in the present.

Senator Scott might have it wrong. To judge by the liberal response to his response, America is a racist country after all:

Following Scott’s speech, mentions of “Uncle Tim” surfaced so many times on Twitter that it became a trend.

“Uncle Tom” is a racist epithet for blacks who won’t hold the opinions the overwhelmingly white liberal elite tell them to hold.

Let’s hear again from liberal luminary Bree Newsome, who recently denounced the police for not letting one black girl stab another. Now she snarkily defends the pack of hounds that bark “Uncle Tim!” as they chase after plantation escapee Tim Scott:
