The Militia vs. The Government

I don’t see militia people preparing to go toe to toe with the Government I think your viewpoint is that civilians are incapable of arming up and conducting guerilla warfare. You say that civilians cannot be violent like infantry, I disagree. When a husband or son watches his wife or family be butchered, THEY WILL FIGHT. If they don’t have weapons, they will get them by whatever means necessary. They will suffer heavy casualties because the Government is much better equipped but that does not preclude heavy damage being inflicted upon the soldiers. If open conflict occurs it will not be five or six shots. We have somewhere near 400,000 retired, discharged etc. They have just as much experience and skills as the Natl Guard. Which is some states is near a joke. I am not disagreeing with some of your points but anyone that thinks open conflict will be short lived is kidding themselves. I know several retirees that have more (new weapons) than the Natl Guard. Lets hope it doesn’t come down to that.
