The Black Lives Matter phenomenon is in full flower following the Karmelo Anthony verdict. Although his punishment for senselessly murdering Austin Metcalf was far from harsh, black leftists are enraged that he was punished at all. They believe it should be effectively legal for blacks to kill whites — a predictable extension of prevailing Critical Race Theory ideology.
They are displeased there were no blacks on the jury, assuming this prevented jury nullification. Don Lemon and others have falsely claimed that the jury was all white because there were no blacks on it.
