Involuntary Euthanasia in France
In the beginning, patients had to want euthanasia. Then authorities started pushing it. In Canada, death has been offered as treatment for eating disorders, poverty, mental illness, needing a wheelchair lift, backpain, and tummy troubles. France now takes the next inevitable step.

Just days after France legalized “assisted suicide,” the French government has now ruled that doctors can euthanize a conscious patient against his wishes by withdrawing life-sustaining treatment, even though he repeatedly says he wants to live. …
At the center of the case is Rémi, a man who regained consciousness after a devastating accident and now consistently tells doctors and his family that he wants to continue living after getting a second chance at life.
Despite his repeated requests, physicians at Paris’s taxpayer-funded Pitié-Salpêtrière Hospital have sought to end the treatment keeping him alive, arguing it constitutes “unreasonable obstinacy.”
Rémi’s family supports his decision to live and has fought to prevent withdrawal of treatment. But it has been overruled by France’s highest administrative court.
Actively killing patients comes next after this.
If it is morally acceptable to kill unborn babies who would have their whole lives ahead of them, why not those who had a chance to live and are injured or sick? Exterminate enough useless eaters, and maybe the numbers will add up so that socialized medicine can work.
