UK Councilor Defends Murderers and Rapists From Police

Their ideology is grounded in the coercive redistribution of other people’s money. Their voter base is largely comprised of lowlifes. They are hostile to public order and civilization itself. So of course leftists infesting Big Government side with criminals against the rest of us. In the UK, a Green Party councilor even helps murderers, rapists, and burglars avoid getting caught by a police van that uses facial recognition technology.

Hau-Yu Tam, cabinet member for sanctuary and healing at Lewisham Council, shared a map on her social media accounts showing the precise location of the police van on Tuesday.

She has a problem with this:

[Live facial recognition] utilises mobile van-based CCTV cameras and artificial intelligence to compare the faces of passers-by with a watchlist of people wanted for committing crimes, failing to turn up to court hearings, or for breaching orders to deter stalking, sexual offences and violence against women and girls.

According to the Metropolitan Police Service…

…there have been vastly more arrests thanks to the technology.

Since the start of 2024, there have been more than 2,100 arrests, with 24 per cent of those being related in some way to violence against women and girls.

If moonbats cared about violence against females, they wouldn’t support mass Muslim immigration or men in women’s sports. Tam has other concerns:

The cameras are intended to catch illegal aliens only if they have committed other crimes. However, Tam doesn’t like “the technology’s racial bias.” Effective law enforcement will always result in racial disparities, as there are stark disparities in who commits crime.

Tam has previously drawn attention by denouncing former Justice Secretary David Lammy as a “coconut.”

Coconut is a highly offensive racial slur, meaning that someone is black or brown on the outside and white on the inside.

Lammy is a Person of Politically Preferred Pigmentation.

Other posts she has shared call Zionism (i.e., Jews living in their homeland) “pure evil” that “must be abolished” and “undoubtedly, unquestionably the Nazism of our time.”

She supports actual evil in the form of Hamas. So why wouldn’t she support murderers and rapists closer to home?
