21st Irmo Community Prayer Breakfast – next month!

% of readers think this story is Fact. Add your two cents.

Can’t believe it’s been TWENTY ONE years that I’ve hosted this breakfast and am glad to continue what I commonly refer to as “the unofficial kickoff to the Okra Strut” every year!

It started with former Representative Huggins and I talking about creating something that could make a bigger impact for the community than we ever could! We had just attended the Chapin Mayor’s Prayer Breakfast and wanted to bring one to Irmo. It’s been going every year since (even during Covid) and I am again joined by Representative Jay Kilmartin as co-host who represents the Irmo Community as well.

It’s free to attend, if you RSVP ahead of time with Desiree! See flyer for that information.

This year, I’m excited we will have Ned Timmerman share the touching story of his son, Jack, and their family’s journey with Batten’s Disease. You won’t want to miss this one!

As always, thank you to our table sponsors. It’s their generosity that helps others attend for free!
