NYPD to Provide Personal Security for Bride of Mamdani in Muslim Lands
Zohran Mamdani has called for defunding and dismantling the police. But he still finds uses for New York’s Finest for now — for example, to provide security for his Syrian–American wife when she travels abroad in lands already conquered by Islam.
The New York Post reports:
Rama Duwaji is heading to Syria and Lebanon next month – and expects to bring along cops assigned to the first couple’s taxpayer-funded NYPD detail, The Post has learned.
Duwaji will be jetting to the Middle East for a trip beginning Sept. 20 to the countries on the State Department’s “Do Not Travel” list for Americans because of dangerous conditions, a source said.
Not so dangerous when you have top security provided by taxpayers.
The source with knowledge of the trip told The Post, “It’s not official business. It’s not doing anything for the city.”
Mamdani et al. have yet to do anything for the city — although they have already done plenty to the city.
