California Lays Groundwork to Loot Corporations for Reparations
The globalist looters of the United Nations are not the only moonbats to exploit irrational guilt as a weapon to extort a massive wealth transfer to Persons of Politically Preferred Pigmentation. Closer to home, California combines race-oriented Cultural Marxist with traditional economic Marxism by demanding that corporations profess their guilt for slavery — an institution that has existed from before recorded history but that ended in the USA 161 years ago.

Assemblymember Isaac Bryan, D-Ladera Heights, introduced Assembly Bill 2599, known as the Truth in Disclosure Act. The bill would require major corporations doing business in California with annual worldwide gross receipts over $100 million to review their historical records and submit sworn affidavits disclosing any past ties to chattel slavery.
If signed into law, AB 2599 would mandate that the California Civil Rights Department establish a digital public platform by Jan. 3, 2028, to archive disclosures on corporate historical ties to slavery. The measure focuses on sectors historically tied to the antebellum economy, including insurance, banking, tobacco, cotton, sugar, railroads and shipping.
This can be compared to requiring gun registration as a prelude to future confiscation. In this case, it is money that will be confiscated from corporations that confess to sins committed generations before any of us were alive.
