How Durable is the Lanyu Bauer SUP Windsurf Board?

As far as materials go, the board is constructed of a military-grade PVC material, which is about as durable as you can get. In other words, you don’t have to worry about bumping into things or dropping your board.

In addition, the sail frame has stainless steel, aluminum and some plastic parts. It also breaks down into smaller sections for easy transport (and travel!)

Finally, Polyester Dacron makes up the sail, which has excellent tear strength. Although a windsurfer SUP can’t get much cheaper, the material quality is not too shabby.

Is it Easy to Learn Windsurfing?

From my own experience, windsurfing takes some getting used to. You have to factor in wind navigation in addition to balancing on the board.

Having said that, the Adventurer is a beginner-length board and offers better than average stability.

Plus, the EVA non-slip deck pad gives your feet good traction. And, it feels comfortable. =)
