1. Gerard what was your sole motivation behind creating your book Here To Help: UFOs and The Space Brothers?

A: The main motivation behind this book was to highlight the many connections and corroborations that most people seem to be unaware of or have forgotten about of the claims of the early contactees – such as George Adamski, Orfeo Angelucci, Daniel Fry, Truman Betherum, and many others. If you look at their statements you will find many similarities not only between their experiences, but also with those of dignitaries and officials that have gone on the record over the years. Moreover, much of what they were told by their space contacts corroborates the teachings in our own spiritual traditions.

So I hope my book will help people to reconnect with the original message of hope that was given through the original contactees at a time of grave danger – the nuclear stand-off between the US and the USSR during the Cold War – now that the global crises are coming together in a ‘perfect storm’ and humanity finds itself forced to choose between the old ways of competition and greed, and continued destruction of our planet, or finding solutions based on the realization that we are one human family, through cooperation and sharing the world’s resources equitably.I think it is as significant as it is under reported that none of the accounts of the early contactees and of the many officials I quote in my book involve any of the atrocities that have been reported since the smear campaign against the early contactees began in the second half of the 1950s. So it is more than likely that the stories of “abductions”, “experiments”, “implants” and what have you, were purposely planted or constructed to give the extraterrestrials a bad name. I mean, George Adamski was asked by his space contacts to set up the Get Acquainted Program for the same reasons that a group of well over a hundred Italians were contacted by extraterrestrials between 1956 and the late 1970s (what has come to be known as the ‘Friendship Case’): to foster worldwide friendship and understanding.

2. George Adamski is mentioned in your book quite frequently. Could you tell us about George and his encounters?

A: George Adamski was the first person to go public with his experience of having met a man from space, on 20 November 1952. There were six witnesses who all signed affidavits before notaries public confirming his story. In his book Inside the Space Ships he describes how he was invited on board flying saucers and mother ships on several occasions, where he was given insights into the nature of space and the universality of life by beings which he described as spiritually highly advanced – not to mention technologically advanced. He referred to some of them as Masters, like the Masters of Wisdom on our planet, who have gone ahead of us along the path of evolution and are leading the way by inspiring and guiding humanity from behind the scenes. In fact, in my first book, George Adamski – A Herald for the Space Brothers, I brought together evidence that Adamski studied with some of the Masters in Tibet as a teenager. The teachings which he conveyed in his writings are very similar to the teachings that have come from the Masters of Wisdom through H.P. Blavatsky, Alice A. Bailey and more recently Benjamin Creme.

Sadly, when Adamski was reaching a worldwide audience with his message of hope, corporate and military interests went out of their way to defame him and deride his experiences, which not only resulted in Adamski’s being ignored for the most part since the early 1960s, but also resulted in the myriad conspiracy theories that seem to have infested the field of Ufology ever since, confusing and scaring the public about the extraterrestrial presence.

3. What are the Space brothers sole purpose in having contact with us exactly and how are they here to help?

A: I believe the space people have been coming to our planet since the beginning of time, because we are an integral part of the solar system. After a long evolutionary journey, humanity is now coming into its own, awakening from its cosmic slumber, and rediscovering the spiritual realities of life. This means not only that we are ready to reconnect with our brothers and sisters from the other planets in our system, but also with our own Elder Brothers – the spiritual hierarchy of Masters – the next kingdom in nature up from the human. So the space people are here in support of that momentous event in the history of our evolution, which will become an undeniable fact when the Master of all the Masters, the World Teacher, will shortly make himself known in a worldwide television broadcast. According to British esotericist Benjamin Creme the fact that the voice of the people is becoming an irresistible force shows that this event very close indeed.

Meanwhile, the space people have been working non-stop to keep our planet intact, keeping it habitable despite our best efforts to pollute the land, the sea and the air that we breathe, and above all, through the nuclear radiation that is released into the atmosphere with every nuclear test and every nuclear power plant. In fact, all the early contactees conveyed the space people’s warnings against our dabbling with nuclear power.

At the same time, the space people have been replicating the Earth’s magnetic grid on the physical plane in preparation for what is called the Technology of Light. This will employ the planet’s electro-magnetic energy combined with energy direct from the sun, to provide free and clean energy for everyone’s needs, everywhere. Obviously, this will not be made available until humanity has made the conscious decision, hopefully soon, to abolish war as a means of resolving conflict.

4. I would like to think all UFO encounters with beings are positive. What do you think about a lot of the negative stories out there in alien abduction stories?

A: I believe many of these stories are the result of people’s fevered imagination fanned by Hollywood’s penchant for evil ‘aliens’, and in other cases they are based on hypnosis- or drug-induced experiences constructed by illicit government operatives. It is a well-known fact that some governments have considerable budgets which are kept from public scrutiny, which have been and are being used for an organized to conduct a disinformation campaign that started in earnest in the mid-1950s. This is a deliberate attempt on the part of governments, or the corporate and military interests behind governments, to confuse the public perception of the extraterrestrial presence on Earth, not only in the US, but in the UK and other countries as well.

I mean, why is that we did not hear of these stories before the early contactees began to be ridiculed? Why is that all of the officials who have come forward – and who have everything to lose in terms of public credibility by coming forward with their experiences – have only positive things to say about the intentions of the space people? These are questions that are consistently ignored when people take for granted claims of ‘alien abductions’ etc.

5. Could you go into early contactees and how they have been ruthlessly debunked by an organized disinformation campaign?

A: Adamski was first offered substantial amounts of money if he would withdraw his claims, or change the status of his books from “non-fiction” to “science fiction”. When he proved unyielding, the media were enlisted to ridicule him. For instance, when he appeared on the Steve Allen show to promote his book Inside the Space Ships, someone told him not to let anyone put words in his mouth, and that they “were told to play this whole thing down”. In Italy, according to journalist Bruno Ghibaudi, who himself was one of the Friendship participants, people who spoke openly about their contacts lost their jobs or were subjected to ridicule or grilling by officialdom. Aladino Felix in Brazil, who wrote about his experiences under the pseudonym of Dino Kraspedon, was first contacted on 20 November1952, the very same day that Adamski’s first contact happened. He was asked to convey basically the same message as Adamski, but was harassed by the media to such an extent that he eventually retracted his claims. In France, an operation was uncovered in which the entire French edition of Frank Scully’s book, Behind the Flying Saucers, had been collected and brought to a paper mill.

As I said, the message from space that a different way of living, without competition, conflict and chaos, is possible, was not in the interest of people who use these adverse conditions to their advantage, even if it is at the detriment of the majority of men, women and children, and even of the planet on which we all depend for our survival.

6. Who are some other original contactees who are being overlooked in these modern times and could you share a bit about their experiences?

A: There are too many to mention, really and some of them I mentioned already, such as Angelucci, Fry and Betherum. But in my book I have quoted from the work of Alberto Perego, an Italian consul who in my view was as important a contactee as was Adamski. Despite his very public profile Perego documented most of the media reports about UFO sightings in Italy and around the world in his books, and he, again, was silenced by being sent to a remote station in Brazil. Perego’s books were never translated into English, so no-one in the English-speaking world seems to have been aware of the historically very significant photographs that he published of an extraterrestrial pilot and the interior of a flying saucer. In the interest of UFO history and research I have reproduced these photographs in my book.

The Canadian government researcher Wilbert Smith is another contactee whose experiences and information confirms and strengthens the argument for the benign nature of the space people.

7. What exactly would the Space brothers do if they could help us completely without any resistance from government agencies or outside forces?

A: If governments or other forces would not have resisted public awareness of the extraterrestrial presence on Earth, open contact would have been established in the 1950s, I have no doubt. There have been several reports that the space people asked our governments to confirm their knowledge of the ET presence to the public, which was duly refused. Like the Masters of Wisdom, the space people, with their higher understanding of the purpose of life, would never infringe our free will as a human race. Through our representatives in government and the media, humanity has initially refused to acknowledge the ET presence. However, since they are real, and they are coming here for a cosmic purpose, instead of going away, they have chosen to bring us to an awareness of their reality in a more roundabout way, via sightings, and individual cases of contact.

8. How come a lot of UFO sightings these days seem like riddle me this type scenarios, where they just appear and vanish being visitation wise and UFO sighting wise? Why not just have a sit down anymore like they apparently did with the original contactees?

A: I have no doubt they still engage in contact with individuals, just as they are constantly working together with Earth scientists, as well as engaging in diplomatic contacts, even we don’t hear about it.

9. So how do you feel about Drones these days and the media using the UFO story to invoke ridicule towards alien life and government agencies using these stories to hide the truth of what they really are doing with this technology worldwide and to our own citizens in the USA?

A: It seems to me that drones are symbolic of the sense of separation that has led humanity to this point of alienation from itself – we can now kill people, often innocent people, without getting ourselves in harm’s way, or being directly exposed to the trauma of taking another’s life.

It is very unfortunate that governments and the military are wilfully keeping the reality of the space people and their craft from the public. Their wisdom and their technology could have made life on Earth much easier for all mankind, if they would have been allowed to share these openly, and humanity would have chosen to leave behind the old ways of ignorance, fear and separativeness in relating to each other and the planet.

10. What would you like to share with us from your book Here To Help UFOs and the Space Brothers, that you feel would be an important message right now for our readers and humanity?

A: What I’ve tried to show, based on testimonies of many contactees – past and present, documentary evidence and historical records, is that the coming of the space people is not an isolated event, but is happening in support of the awakening of humanity in this time of crisis.

That said, readers must understand that it’s not the UFO’s, the space people, or the Masters of Wisdom who will solve the problems we have created ourselves and so save us from destruction. The mass protests engulfing the world today against the blatant efforts of the global elite to force financial and consumerist enslavement on the masses are evidence that humanity is now ready to take responsibility for its part in the plan of evolution for this planet. They are the writing on the wall for those who have tried with all their might to suppress this inevitable expansion of consciousness in the human kingdom. The recognition of the presence of the Elder Brothers from Earth and outer space will broaden our concept of life immensely. Under their inspiration and guidance we will soon tackle the horrors of our social and economic systems which condemn millions of people to deprivation and even starvation, and create a civilization far beyond our highest dreams.
