Mysterious ‘Horned’ Sea Monster Washes Ashore In Spain

% of readers think this story is Fact. Add your two cents.

A mysterious sea creature featuring what appear to be horns on its head was discovered in the advanced stages of decomposition along the shoreline of Luis Siret Beach in Villaricos, Spain, on Thursday.

A woman first discovered the head and then found the body farther down the beach, according to ThinkSpain.com. The entire carcass with the head stretched 13 feet.

“A lady found one part and we helped her retrieve the rest,” said Maria Sanches of Civil Protection in Cuevas. “We have no idea what it was. It really stank.”

Sounds and looks gross.  Obviously this is a dead something but thats about all I can tell you.  Im no sea life creature expert but then we humans haveonly explored 5% of the worlds oceans so as a whole we dont know much about anything that comes out ofthe water do we?  This is something that happens fairly often every year, the dead carcass of something washes up and sometimes its identified as a dead animal of some kind and the other time its unidentfiable, not because it doesnt exist as we know it but because its so mutilated that we just wont know.  What do you think this is? -Mort

Is there any way that this monster, like the plesiosaur, has somehow melted out of a glacier somewhere like the occasional mammoth does?

      • NM
