Perhaps Roswell was faked in order to deceive even high ranking military and intel personnel. The story may have been concocted and acted out with fake bodies so as to uncover moles in the govt who would leak the info to Russia. It may have even been used to convince Russia that America was about to make a huge technological leap over it. This occurred early in the cold war where it was undoubtedly of paramount importance to uncover Russian spies and Russia’s ambition to steal nuclear and missile secrets. Then there is the added benefit of planting the seeds for the coming decades of psyops against Americans concerning aliens. Such seeds also planted doubt about biblical narratives. Eye witnesses may have indeed seen bodies and signs of cover ups all used to deceptively deceive and lead to leaks.

I wasn’t there, but there are many motives for such a deceptive act which could have been carried out relatively easily.
