I left Random House Books Westminster Maryland around 6pm going to Brampton Ontario for An 8am delivery . It was dark going through Gettysburg Pennsylvania and I kept hearing cannon fire
When I was a little girl in the 60′s my family was passing through Memphis one summer. My parents picked a campsite outside of Memphis. It was close to 6pm I figure. We had just finished pitching the tent and was unloading the car for the night. Suddenly we heard men in the distance with eirie haunting hallowering surrounding us. Even gunfire. I never saw my family packup so quick in my life to get out of there. I never forgot it. I wonder if we were SW of Memphis.

my friends and i each drank about 37 bud lights–we were sitting around the camp fire in Death Valley,Ca. all the sudden we started to hear a chant “Death Valley,Death Valley!” my 3 friends jumped into the suv and hauled ass out of there–5 miles down the road they came to a curve and rolled the suv,killing all three of them–now we know why its called Death Valley…..
Drunk driving killed them. Nothing scary.
