Two Friends Close Encounter In Beach Haven New Jersey

JUNE 15, 1983………BEACH HAVEN NEW JERSEY

I was riding my bike home with a friend and we were on the back roads on long beach islands I would say 13th street headed to my road on 16th street. I noticed a light just above the clouds and it was slightly to my left maybe in the clouds or hovering just above. My friend saw it too and we began to peddle extremely fast because it was terrifying at the time. I got to my road and turned right and it STOPPED IN PLACE and made a PRECISE sharp turn right following us and now panic had set in. Thankfully I did not have to go far we threw our bikes down and ran into my house and when I got past the front porch I swung around to look at it and there it was ! It was above my neighbors house over his roof kinds of circling back and fourth the light was and then it took off and was gone in a second. I saw it fly away into at a speed that I can only describe as instant … but let me be clear the light did not go away it FLEW away it “swooped” away and never a sound. We were shook and  I never forgot it and I decided to come fourth with my story. There is no explanation it has to be a UFO there were no drones at 9-10pm at night on long beach island in 1983.
