Roberts was born on January 17, 1955 in Fresno, California. He has an Associate Degree in Criminology. In 1977, Roberts for one year was a firefighter with the California Division of Forestry. Firefighting was not his cup of tea.

Military Career:
Roberts from 1973 to 1976 served with the US Army’s D.S.T. (Drug Suppression Team) C.I.D. (Criminal Investigation Division) in Germany, working undercover narcotics. From 1979 to 1986 Roberts served in the US Army’s Military Intelligence. Working at PIC-K (Photo Interpretation Center in Korea). Roberts held a Top Secret S.B.I. (Special Background Investigation) clearance as an Intelligence Analyst, later receiving an H-Identifier with OPFOR (Opposing Forces), where Roberts playing a character that is a Russian Defector named Corporal Dowbowski. Roberts/Dowbowski wore a Soviet uniform, ski mask and trained elite troops like US Army’s Special Forces, 101st Airborne, Air Force Special Operations, Navy Seals, Army Rangers, Delta Force, 82nd ‘Screaming Eagles’ Airborne, Marine Recon the Soviet Threat and W.E.F.T. (Wings, Engine, Fuselage, Tail section) in identifying Soviet aircraft.

Dancing Career:
Roberts from 1976 to 1979 became involved in professional dancing and was a dance instructor for Arthur Murrays. Roberts danced with Jeff Kutache’s Dancing Machine in Lake Tahoe and Reno. When Roberts danced with Jeff Kutache’s Dancing Machine, the Dancing Machine at one time was the first performance before Cher. Roberts appeared as an extra in movies like Rollerboogie and Skatetown USA. He later captured the Guinness Book of World Records for disco dancing 205 hours, in which Ripley’s Believe it or Not featured him in a cartoon, which can be seen here: www.centralhome.com/ballroomcountry/disco-days.htm Roberts was the 3rd and 5th Disco King of Sacramento. During that time Roberts had his own entourage and had access to 3 Rolls Royce when conducting his shows. One of the Rolls Royce was provided by Club Lido which is now the Grand Island Mansion in Walnut Grove, CA. Roberts during the time he was Disco King met with celebrities like Wolfman Jack, Chic, Monti Rock III, Allman Brothers, Bill Cosby, Dennis Farina & Erin Moran. Roberts was sent to Los Angeles to try out for American Bandstand and the Gong Show. American Bandstand felt Roberts was too old and the Gong Show felt Roberts dance routine was not funny enough. Both shows rejected Roberts’ routines. Roberts went on to make a disco commercial and appear as a dancer in a movie called “Grad Night”.

Comic Book Career:
Roberts became involved in reviewing comic books and interviewing comic book creators for Jazma Online! Roberts published one comic book entitled The Legendary Dark Silhouette. Roberts also published a series of fanzines called The Peoples’ Comic Book Newsletter (PCBN). The fanzines are located at many university libraries, but only Bowling Green University – Special Collections has every single issue in their collections. Roberts presented Stan Lee with the PCBN award and interviewed celebrities like William Shatner. Shatner at the time had his own independent comic books called Tek World.

Paranormal Investigator Career:
Roberts is the co-owner of HPI (Halo Paranormal Investigations). Roberts’ wife Deanna Jaxine Stinson – Psychic Medium is the other co-owner of HPI.

Documentaries
Roberts in 2004 became a paranormal investigator and with over 2,500 investigations under his belt and over a thousand paranormal articles he has written lead him to many documentaries. Roberts and his wife Deanna have been the location scouts for several episodes of Travel Channel’s Ghost Adventures.

Roberts and his wife Deanna Jaxine Stinson appeared on E! Of course, the story was misconstrued, where a few news agencies thought Deanna and I were already married and invented this ghost story, they did not realize that Deanna came to HPI as a client first, then we dated, fell in love and got married. Roberts is also a Fortean investigator in which he investigates ALL things paranormal from Mothman, Chupacabra, UFOs, Crop Circles, Ghosts, Poltergeists, Demons and more. Significant investigations by HPI are the Skinwalker Ranch in Utah, Area 51, Wolf Creek Inn – Oregon, Lauren Willet – Charles Manson Clan Murder Case in Stockton, looking for Natalee Holloway’s ghost in Aruba, UFOs and Bigfoot at Mount Shasta, UFOs and USOs at Monterey Bay. Investigations in Jamaica, Dominican Republic, Haiti, Panama, Prague – Czechoslovakia; Nicaragua, Costa Rica. In 2013, Roberts investigated Guatemala, Belize, El Salvadore. In 2014, Roberts investigated the Headless Knight’s Templar in Prague, Czechoslovakia.

Writing Career:
Roberts writes community stories and does interviews. Roberts is an international traveler and has been to over 59 countries and territories. He has taken lessons flying a helicopter and Cessna airplane. He has taken lessons in skydiving. Roberts has a daughter named Illi Anna Vega that lives in Arizona with her 5 children and 2 grandchildren. Roberts has a stepson named Jason Randall Porter. Roberts raised Jason from age 3 to adulthood.
