Orange orbs followed by 3 lights appearing to be joined at the tips of an equilateral triangular shape
At 19:54, 8 members of the Salford Astronomical Society witnessed 6 orange orbs fly approximately 500ft overhead in a V formation, flying Southwest directly over the Observatory. At 20:19, 3 bright white lights equidistant apart from other in the shape of an equilateral triangle flew overhead before disappearing in the blink of an eye as if the lights were turned off.
Both instances were very fast moving, absolutely silent and did not appear to be any type of conventional aircraft. Flight radar was checked and although there were departing aircraft from Manchester Airport flying above us, no aircraft were above for either sighting. Drones were dismissed as they were silent and there was no drown activity planned in the area. We also checked the MOD low flying schedule and there was nothing planned in the area. NOTE: The above image is real but from another case file.
