Rob Solinger
Rob Solinger is a Chartered Accountant who has worked in a leadership role for the past 25 years with a number of small to medium sized entrepreneurial organizations including companies engaged in exploration and production of oil and gas, technology development and providing financial services. Rob is currently the Vice-President – Finance and Director of a private oil and gas company. His work experience has provided him with unique insights in how to deal with the challenges of rapid growth in start-up organizations.
Rob believes in giving back to the community having served as chairman, treasurer, director and a volunteer with Boys and Girls Clubs of Calgary, Foothills Academy (a school for children with learning disabilities) and various sporting and service organizations for the past thirty years.
Rob joined the Wildrose party in 2009 out of a sense of frustration with current government and its inability to listen and respond to Albertans. He quickly became involved in building the party including ongoing fundraising efforts and as a founding member of the Calgary-Varsity riding association. Rob was the Wildrose candidate for Calgary-Varsity in the 2012 provincial election.
As the Wildrose party continues to grow and meet the needs of all Albertans we must demonstrate financial stewardship within our own party in order to garner the confidence of the electorate in 2016.
