The two bombing suspects robbed a 7-Eleven, followed with a shootout with MIT policeman,whom they shot in the head.  They then stole his cruiser in order to make a getaway.  The officer was killed in the exchange.    The two are Chechen brothers by the name of Tsarnaez.  They began throwing explosives and shooting at police.  In the ensuing fight, one of the brothers. Jokar , bomber #1,  was shot multiple times and later died.  Police found an explosive device attached to his chest.  The second bombing suspect, Dzhokhar A. Tsarnaev got away.

In what could be a related development, police had two more young men handcuffed and sitting on the curb. News reports say the two are terrorist suspects and news crews have been ordered out of the area.  Police were searching a car and rifling through some backpacks.  Police have shut down a 4 mile stretch of road between Watertown and Cambridge, while they check for unexploded devices the pair may have planted or thrown from the car.

Chechnya is a small Muslim country much like Afghanistan.  The brothers are said to have military experience and have lived here for a year.  Although it is feared that they have others willing to hide the lone remaining bomber, other experts have put the idea forth that he could expect no help from other terrorist cells because it is obvious that if they did, they too would be exposed and taken down.

Analysts have said that the brothers were comfortable with the weapons that they are using and that these two brothers came here with the intent to kill Americans. Both were legal permanent residents of the United States, calling into question, the idea of massive amnesty to illegal aliens.  It also calls attention to this administrations policy of not singling out Muslims for extra scrutiny in order to protect American citizens.

Harvard University and mass transit has been closed down while police search for bomber number two.  Police have called this terrorism.   “We believe this to be a man here to kill people.”  Gee, what gave them the first clue.

No word on when members of the Obama administration and liberal talking heads on CNN and MSNBC will issue apologies to rightwing fanatics.  And rumors have it that the staff at Salon Magazine are in mourning after learning the bombers were Muslim.
