ADVICE: More tips on how to deal with martial law

I wanted to write a follow up to my article on Martial Law as there were some very good questions and concerns.

As seen in the reviews and comments, what to do in a situation where you are being assaulted in your home or apartment is not always black and white. What if you are older and alone? What if you’re too young to own weapons legally? What news and information should you listen to or read about to keep up as to what is happening at any given time to react in a reasonable manner?

These are hard questions that have been put forth by real people living in area’s such as NYC and areas that have ridicules weapons laws that seem to be meant to empower the gangs and people who want nothing more than to hurt and to scavenge off of  others around them. I will try to address these questions with ideas on what to do and what not to do.  There are choices and there is hope for those not willing to throw in the towel. With proper planning and the ability to follow the plan and not panic you can survive a crisis. It’s just a matter of making and sticking to the plan.

Let me start by addressing the worry of Drone threats. I didn’t realize that this was such a fear until my first post. Let us look at the weapon in a closer light and see why it is such a popular and successful weapon in the sand box. (The Desert) Drones are used and are very successful there because of the lack of information they have to detect. We have to think about what is in the desert. The answer is pretty much nothing but humans. Drones are sent out to search for heat sources, movement, groups, noise, satellite links, etc. They can fly around for hours and hours sending information while human operators and technicians null through the information to zero in on any target they deem important. If the Drones were such a magical weapon, why did it take over ten years to zero in on the most wanted man in the world? I personally believe that the Drone had very little to do with it and his location was known for a very long time. (The entire situation is fishy to me) To the point, a Drone in the US would pretty much suffer from information over load. Everything in the US is a heat source. Trees, cars, people, animals, etc. So everyone relax about the Drones and worry about the basics in the beginning which is to get to your safe point and follow your plan.
