why is this crap still being put out there, Its against the constitution for him to have a third term, unless you can get two thirds of the US population to agree to it, at this point in history with his popularity being so low do you really expect people to get behind this crap.
The point is that Hitlery, I mean, Hillary, would be more of the same. It’s not about an actual, literal 3rd term.
But for the record, to amend the Constitution you need: two-thirds of the House and Senate to propose an amendment. Then, you need ratification by three-fourths of the states.
OR…2/3 of the states can call for a Constitutional Convention. (this has never happened.) And the convention would then amend the Constitution, with ratification by three-fourths of the states.
And these are the legislatures voting, not the public. And the President and Governors don’t have to sign.
But…since when do we care what the Constitution says? The entire tenth amendment has been ignored, consistently, for more than 150 years.
And none of the wars in my lifetime have been declared by Congress.
And where does the Constitution grant the CIA or the NSA or the DIA the power to do anything?
The Constitution was ignored to death a long time ago.
