Racists and Liars: Topple The Democratic Party of Oppression

The images and quotes in this article should enrage people – not just at those alive today – but at the Democrats past, present, and future.

I am not a southerner, and I have no fond attachment to the Confederate flag. The racism and social unrest in recent news has nothing to do with the books I write and often promote here. But this is a very important topic, dividing our nation as if a new civil war is about to start up. I understand how millions of black Americans see Confederate statues, and flags as symbols of slavery and oppression. I understand why they want to see such Confederate flags and statues removed from public locations.

BUT I can’t help but remember the whitewashing of truth and history in George Orwell’s “1984”

“Every record has been destroyed or falsified, every book has been rewritten, every picture has been repainted, every statue and street and building has been renamed, every date has been altered. And that process is continuing day by day and minute by minute. History has stopped. Nothing exists except an endless present in which the Party is always right.”

So with both the distortion of TRUTH and the politics of hate and racism in mind, let us take the next logical step: let’s ban the Democratic Party. This is how they portrayed things themselves about 150 years ago:

The Democratic Party’s military arm in the South was the KKK. The Democratic Party opposed the 14th and 15th Amendments to the Constitution, making the former slaves citizens of the United States and giving them the vote.

If the new Cultural Revolution was serious, wouldn’t it also demand that the Democratic Party be put in a museum somewhere, away from decent people, along with those Confederate statues?

…We might even peer down on an animatronic Democratic Sen. Robert Byrd, once a leader of the KKK. And with him, prominent animatronic Democrats who, just a few short years ago, said wonderful, moving things about Byrd after his funeral.

That’s how it is with history. You can’t say the Democratic Party wasn’t the slavery party. It’s historical fact. Just as it is also historical fact that the Republican Party was the party of abolitionists.”

Lincoln and the rest of the Republican Party helped free the slaves, but only after a civil war with half a million dead Americans, because the Democrats really, really wanted to keep their slaves.

The first grand wizard of the KKK was honored at the 1868 Democratic National Convention in New York: “The 1868 Democratic National Convention was held at Tammany Hall in New York City. The slogan for the 1868 Democratic National Convention was, “This is a white man’s country, Let a white man rule”

Did the racism of the Democratic Party end with or even shortly after the Civil War? Or maybe it never ended?  Do key policies of the Democratic Party continue to keep many blacks dependent on handouts that have failed to improve their socioeconomic position by discouraging working their way past it?

Yes, the same Harry S. Truman, who, as a Senator in July 1941, said: “If we see that Germany is winning the war, we ought to help Russia; and if that Russia is winning, we ought to help Germany, and in that way let them kill as many [of each other] as possible. . . .”  What a nice man, thinking maybe we should help Nazi Germany to kill more people.

And the Democratic Party STILL wants to keep its slaves today, by giving out welfare goodies – enough to be appreciated by the mentally feeble, but without policies that would actually encourage behaviors of self-reliance like acquiring lucrative skills from trade schools and colleges – and keeping the jobs that follow. The Democratic Party perpetuates dependency on the hand that gives, dependency on the Democrats that discourage trying to better oneself and take care of oneself.

Since the Democratic Party has always been, and is clearly still the party perpetuating various forms of enslavement – I beg the most vocal community leaders that if they feel strongly enough to follow through on their fervor to topple Confederate Statues, they must continue on to topple the Democratic Party.
