Congress just passed a Bill allowing “Warrantless Searches” of all areas next to the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority.

 

House Joint Resolution 76 allows  the Washington Metrorail Safety Commission to search any areas next to, or near, the areas owned by the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority.

 

Thus – there is no longer a 4th Amendment to our Constitution in Washington, DC.

 

It passed quietly and with no press.

 

The reason they passed this is that they have just learned of yet another 35KT Firecracker found only a few blocks from the Halls Of Congress in a tunnel next to the Metrorail System ready to go:

On … well – to be exact … tomorrow at a little after 10AM.

 

However – this bill leads down a slippery slope of Warrantless Searches now sweeping the nation as Law Enforcement now has the power to seize whatever they wish and claim it to be based on “The War On Drugs.”
