Kimmel Tells Jim Acosta: This is What I Think of Your Trump Coverage

% of readers think this story is Fact. Add your two cents.

During CNN Chief White House Correspondent Jim Acosta’s guest appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live Wednesday night, things got reeeal cozy.

Acosta — a self-professed journalist who, contrary to the obligations of his profession, openly expresses hostility for the President — was naturally a light in a dark place for Kimmel.

The liberal host seemed to announce Acosta’s bias in his introduction, saying:

The interview was as politically unified as would be expected, with Jimmy asking questions such as, “There must be moments, maybe even every day, where you go, ‘I can’t believe this is what i’m covering today.’”

Speaking about the controversial news figure’s relationship with the Trump White House, the former Man Show ringmaster complimented:

“Busting balls” may not be the best way to put it.

A few samples of Jim Acosta at his best/worst:

In a perplexing display from someone calling themself a reporter, Acosta argued to White House advisor Stephen Miller that America isn’t supposed to have immigration regulation (watch at your own discretion; it’s 3 minutes long):

And then there was this…

and this…

and this:

Shouting, Acosta rudely called President Trump a merchant of fake news here:

– 0000 –

Finally, aggression toward Trump resulted in the irritator being thrown out of a press briefing:

Jim Acosta isn’t known for his composure, his objectivity, or his professionalism. He seems to misunderstand what a reporter is supposed to be. Of course, journalists should ask hard questions. But their questions, comments, and conduct should never reveal their ideology. Or, in the case of Acosta, sadly, idiology.

Jimmy asked, “Are you the only reporter who’s ever been kicked out of a press situation by the President of the United States?”

He replied, ““I think so…I wear it as a badge of honor.”

Kimmel told him he should.

None of that was a surprise, but this was quite unexpected from Acosta:

Hmmm… Yeah — they might not. Do you?
