US-backed forces release footage of their troops capturing new town in northeast Syria… The US-backed Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) released this morning of their troops seizing a new town inside the northeastern province of Al-Hasakah… The SDF designated the town of Al-Fakkah on Tuesday, when they administered to overrun the so-called Islamic State’s (ISIS) defenses and force the terrorist group to retreat southeast towards the Iraqi border…

Above is the footage that was captured by the SDF during their short operation yesterday… Earlier this week, the SDF kicked off the second phase of Operation Jazeera Storm, with an emphasis on eliminating the Islamic State’s last remnants in the Al-Hasakah Governorate… Since the start of this offensive, the SDF has captured a half dozen towns and several hilltops…
