Syrian army reinforcements heading to Idiib

Syria Kurds evacuate civilians from final ISIS enclave

The Russian Federal news Agency ФАН publishes a video showing the large-scale combing operations carried out by the Jerusalem Brigade against the Isis cells in the Badiya of Homs and Deir al-Zour.

The Damascus army sent a long military convoy to Badiyeh (desert) region of Palmyra in Eastern Homs to cleanse the remnants of the ISIL terrorists.

“The army’s convoy consisted of a large number of forces and military equipment and was sent to Badiyeh region in the Eastern parts of al-Sukhnah city in Eastern Homs to strengthen the military points,” field sources in Syria reported on Thursday.

Meantime, the Syrian army continued its military advances in other parts of Syria over the past 24 hours.

Tens of terrorists were killed and dozens more were injured during the Syrian army’s operations in provinces across Syria.

Homs

The Syrian army dispatched a long military convoy to Badiyeh (desert) region of Palmyra in Eastern Homs to cleanse the remnants of the ISIL terrorists.

Field sources in Syria reported on Thursday that the army’s convoy consisted of a large number of forces and military equipment and was sent to Badiyeh region in the Eastern parts of al-Sukhnah city in Eastern Homs to strengthen the military points.

They added that the Syrian army dispatched forces to the region after the ISIL’s repeated attacks against the army positions, noting that Damascus intends to fully purge the ISIL terrorists from the region.

Thousands of the ISIL militants have occupied a 4,000-sq/km region from Northern Palmyra to Northern al-Sukhnah and the Western borders with Deir Ezzur province.

A source told the Arabic-language al-Masdar news website earlier this week that an estimated 1,500-3,000 ISIL terrorists were believed to be active in Badiyeh al-Sham region located in Central Syria.

Aleppo

The Turkish army and terrorists supported by Ankara continued forceful seizure of people’s properties in Northwestern Aleppo, media sources said, adding that differences have increased among the militants in Turkish-occupied areas.

The Kurdish-language Hawar news quoted local sources in Afrin as saying on Thursday that the Ankara-backed militants have cut nearly 1,050 fruit trees belonging to the civilians in the village of Qorneh Foqani in Bolboleh region.

They also added that the terrorists have also cut the old trees near Meidanaki Lake in Shara region.

The sources said that the terrorists in Afrin region and other occupied areas in Northern Aleppo have engaged in severe differences and several of them in Afrin, al-Bab and, specially Jarabulus, have defected their groups and joined other groups affiliated to the Turkish army.

The terrorist groups and the countries which support them have in the past few years plundered Syria’s resources and treasures.

Hasaka

A number of senior commanders and forces of the US-backed Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) defected in Hasaka province and were transferred to areas controlled by the Syrian army in the region.

The Arabic-language al-Arabiya news website quoted informed sources in Hasaka as saying that 15 SDF fighters, including their senior commanders, defected the group.

They added that the defected SDF members escaped to the regions controlled by the Syrian army inside Hasaka city, noting that the SDF put on alert its forces after the incident.

Hama-Idlib

The Syrian Army’s artillery units and Russian warplanes heavily pounded the terrorists’ positions in Hama and Idlib provinces in response to their attacks on residential places in the countryside of Lattakia.

“Over the past two years the terrorist groups have targeted and hit the towns of Najieh and Badama as well as the heights in the surrounding areas of Kabani in the countryside of Idlib and Lattakia and some villages in Northeastern Lattakia with Grad missiles with a range of 50 kilometers,” the Arabic-language service of Russian Sputnik news agency quoted a Syrian Army official as saying.

The source said that the Syrian Army’s artillery and missile units pounded the terrorists’ missile positions in Marj Khoukheh and Rabia while Russian fighter jets also bombed the terrorists’ movements.

He also said that the Russian warplanes also destroyed several underground targets of the terrorists in Northern Syria.

The Turkistani Party terrorists, meantime, have increased their movements in Jisr al-Shoghour region in Southwestern Idlib by sending missile equipment to contact lines with the Syrian Army. A sum of 18,000 Turkistani terrorists are in Jisr al-Shoghour.

The Syrian Army’s artillery units also heavily pounded the military positions and movements of Tahrir al-Sham (the Levant Liberation Board or the Al-Nusra Front) terrorists in al-Arbaeen al-Ziara, Qabr Faza, al-Sharia to East of Sahl al-Ghab in North and Northwestern Hama, killing a number of terrorists, including their commander Abu Omar al-Kordi.
