The 11 to 12 million number is clearly absurd.

I can’t remember that figure changing over the past 15 years and the influx of illegal aliens hasn’t stopped since I started blogging and is currently at its highest point in decade.

“President Trump’s top immigration spokesman on Wednesday said that there are potentially 22 million illegal immigrants inside the United States, nearly twice the estimate regularly cited.

Ken Cuccinelli, the acting director of U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, which handles the legal immigration process, said the number comes from a study done by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. That study put the number at 22.1 million. …”

Meanwhile, Sen. Mike Lee of Utah, a stalwart Tea Party conservative liberal, is desperately trying to eliminate the country caps on H-1B visas to reward Silicon Valley for censorship.

“Silicon Valley says it loves diversity, but the industry only wants workers from one country — and it’s not America.

An estimated 71 percent of the workforce in Silicon Valley is foreign-born. The majority are Indian nationals; nearly 70 percent of those who come on H-1B visas — a favorite of Big Tech — hail from India. Additionally, many tech firms have a sizable presence in India itself.

And the reason tech giants love Indian-born workers? They tend to work for far less than American workers.

Unfortunately, Congress wants to advance Silicon Valley’s lack of diversity. The Fairness for High-Skilled Immigrants Act would eliminate country caps on immigration and allow Indians to monopolize the share of green cards. It’s estimated that Indians would take at least 75 percent of all employment-based visas if the bill passes. …”

Mark Zuckerberg gave a speech at Georgetown University this morning in which he claimed that henceforth Facebook will prioritize free speech.
