A Skeptical American

I’m enjoying this ongoing debate with Hunter Wallace. It has provided a much needed discussion on what is to be done as we go forward. Being trapped in an echo chamber where only the same things are uttered leads to an inability to formulate necessary strategies as only one possible scenario is imagined. The British Left learned this the hard way during the last election because they confused Twitter for the British public. Hunter is logically data-driven whereas whereas I am passionately bombastic. Both are part of politics.

Good things are coming out of this crisis. Globalism has been all but discredited. A exotic virus from China wouldn’t have spread so widely without open borders. Governments suddenly have discovered it isn’t possible to shut them. They’ll never be able tell us they are again. The same goes for offshoring. Companies converting their factories to produce masks and ventilator prove we can make anything in our own countries. Western industry didn’t become obsolete with the steam engine. The importance of family bonds have been rekindled as they quarantine together. Even a white baby boom could happen around Christmas with so many couples having to stay inside.

All of these also validate Trump. He harped on China and the border as a candidate. He will repeat that tune during his reelection bid. Unless the economy crashes or the worst predictions of Covid-19 come true, he is guaranteed another 4 years. You better be ready for it. All your criticisms of him will fall on deaf ears. Why would the people follow critics of the man who was not only right, but lead them out of a crisis caused by what he was right about?

That is why I started this debate. The demonstration by Dissident Right leaders that they have no political sense whatsoever. Their Blackpilling doom and gloom subculture has brought them down the road of cowardice. Instead of questioning those they opposed, they listened to them. Instead of standing up to them, they obeyed them. When a real crisis came, they ran and hid.

I first want to lambast this worst is better nonsense. It doesn’t work. Despair breeds despair. People don’t rally behind those who say it’s good that their life is getting worse. They rally behind those who say, “I can make your life better!” Trump was elected because of that. He gave Americans hope. Same with FDR during the Great Depression. What hope do you provide? All you do is go, “Yes! Yes! The people are suffering more!” No wonder no wants to line up behind you.

On top of that, despite your fantasies, this crisis will not topple the system. Neither The Civil War nor The Great Depression could. Covid-19 won’t either. Apartheid South Africa fell Afrikaners voted for de Klerk who dismantled it. The Soviet Union fell because Gorbachev introduced policies to open up the system. British India ended because Attlee gave it away. Same with de Gaulle and French Algeria. All of them ended because those at the top worked to implemented their finish. No one in Congress or the White House is making any such move. Every effort is being made to keep it going. Stop reading outlandish fantasies like The Turner Diaries.

Is that why so many aren’t questioning the details of the Coronavirus? A secret (and not so secret) wish that it will cause the mythical collapse? Sorry to disappoint you. Not happening. Perhaps that’s why I’m skeptical. No such hope stirs inside me. Only a doom and gloom Blackpill outlook could manifest such a delusion. It requires no effort from the Blackpiller. They can sit around and bitch without doing anything. Everything will just fall into place. I’m realistic enough to know that’s not how the world works.

Nothing about this virus adds up to a collapse. Nor does it the apocalyptic visions Blackpillers and others are seeing. Let’s start with the fact that no one knows how many cases exist. Millions untested are said to be infected. Britain says up to 50 million could be. Both their government and ours admit that the exact number is unknowable since not everyone in the country has been tested. And so outlet after outlet acknowledge that the death rate will continue to drop. First it was over 3 million then half that then half that and now around 100,000. Everyone is guessing blind. Add the fact that how death is tallied isn’t consistent. Did the person die from it or simply with it in them? In the end, the percentage of those that will be killed by it could be the same, or lower, than the flu.

Was it worth destroying our people’s livelihoods and limiting their freedoms? Were such consequences justified? Were such measures even effective? Some in the mainstream media are questioning if cure could be worse than the disease too. But since the first country to deal with it, China, keeps lying about their numbers we’ll never know for certain.

This isn’t conspiracy thinking. It’s asking questions about inconsistent information. Why have the French admitted that they won’t be enforcing quarantines on refugees (for fear of riots) if being locked up is the best way to slow the spread? Same thing goes for here with footage of blacks partying in the streets of southern California. Every migrant camp and ghetto should resemble plague ravaged Florence if the skeptics are wrong. If they’re not then you, who are supposed to be their advocates, went along with whites being cowed and locked down while non-whites went about freely. Prisons are also somehow so unsafe from contagion that criminals must be let out. Yet the same authorities are threatening to arrest and jail any civilian who breaks quarantine. Come again? Apparently they’re too dangerous for criminals but safe enough for civilians. Carlos can be out but Connor must stay in.

That’s why you’re cowards. You never question and you never speak out. Daily death tolls silence you. You went from “Down with ZOG!” to “Save me ZOG!”

Incompetence and overcompensation caused this chaos. China and the WHO lied about what was happening in Wuhan. Western governments were thus unprepared. Now they’re scrambling. I’m not a Truther. I won’t go over why. Just know I’m not. The infamous footage of a stunned Bush reading to kids at the news of 9/11 is what happened here. Add a splash of not wanting to be racist against Chinese and you have the disastrous cocktail being forced down our throats. As an upstate NYer I said over a month ago that that the city should be quarantined like Escape from New York. No one goes in or out. Let the virus burn itself out there. Large gatherings such as Mardi Gras, Chinese New Year celebrations, and Springbreak should have been cancelled also. Those would have been common sense actions. But they weren’t implemented. Now we have to deal with all of this.

The question is for how long. We’re still dealing with the overcompensation after 9/11. You should be making sure these policies don’t live on as well. You should be demanding they end as soon as the crisis does. All while questioning if they weren’t a big overreaction the whole time. But you don’t make a peep. Instead the likes of Sargon are making the noise. Even Governor Coumo has publicly doubted whether shelter-in-place was a good idea. Whereas the only doubts you have is the humanity of those doubting.

Cuomo has also said people need to get back to work. That this can’t go on forever. Does he also want to kill old ladies for stock margins? Does he want to turn people into bioweapons? You sound like complete idiots saying such things. An article recent came out estimating that 40% of New Yorkers can’t pay their rent this month. That makes sense considering the state’s unemployment website has crashed multiple times from the amount of people logging in. What about the landlords? They’re income is now gone.

That’s the real economy. For all the talk about the white working class, you don’t seem to give a shit about them as long as you can stick it to the banksters. You’re no different from Communists using working people as mere cannon fodder against the elites.

I myself have been lucky thus far. I’m full time management at a subsidiary of a corporation so they’ve paid me while at home for the past 2 weeks. My crew under me consisting of part-time workers unfortunately got nothing. But tomorrow afternoon I have to get on a corporate conference call with the other managers. I have no idea what’s gonna happen. They could keep paying me till the month is through. They could let me go. My concern about the economic downturn from this has nothing to do with GDP. My job, my crew member’s jobs, and the jobs of others like us is what it’s about.

Some will be saying, “Well you can get another one.” Really? That easy huh? Let me give you an anecdote. Last week a local supermarket was having open interviews for people to restock the shelves during the new hours. Hiring workers to get those empty aisles full again after closing. Who knows what the future holds so I checked it out. When I went up to the service desk and inquired the woman said, “Sorry we’re done with open interviews today. But I can take your name and number.” She then proceeded to pull out a piece of paper filled with names and numbers. She put my info on what open space was left in the bottom right hand corner. It was like the written equivalent of men lining up outside the factory for work during the Depression. Do all those names want to work so the GDP stays propped up? Do all those numbers want to be called so they can become bioweapons? You’re idiocy is astounding.

But we can just reopen the economy and everything will be the same as before. Doesn’t work like that. Even if the relief bill provides aid to pay for rent, utilities, and keeping employees on payroll, that’s 6 or 7 weeks without any revenue. Do you understand how precarious that is? Especially for restaurants which already have a thin profit margin. Those businesses might as well just be opening for the first time. Many won’t be able to reopen or remain so for long.

The idea that Dissident Right leaders who are so economically ignorant will lead our people to a country where they can be prosperous and provide for their families is a joke. Any state you create would be as poor as North Korea.

I reiterate my main stance in this debate. Dissident Right leaders have proven themselves to be unmanly cowards. Not because they didn’t encourage people to gather in crowds or go cough in people’s faces, but because they refused to question the inconsistencies we’re being told. They refused to speak out against the infringement of our liberties or demand those infringements be rolled back as soon as possible. And they refused to see the financial consequences they are having on our people’s well-being. To sum up: they have shown themselves unfit to lead any movement.

The world is gonna change and they better change to if they want to.
