Don’t pay any attention to the naysayers (being polite here) as there has always been, and will always be, a segment of our population with a perpetual case of “head in their ass” syndrome. At the 9:15 to 9:22 mark in the above video in part Merrick Garland says “… bedrock rule of our Democracy.” It’s sad the Attorney General of the United States appears to be unaware the American constitution says our federal government is a REPUBLIC. If Merrick Garland is unaware of such a basic fact why is he the Attorney General in America?
Some learned in the 2nd grade as we stood, put our hand over our heart, faced the American Flag, and said “I Pledge Allegiance To The Flag of the United States of America, and to the REPUBLIC for which it stands, one nation, under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.”
