Synchronization Before the Start of the Election Campaign: The Burisma Case in Ukraine and the Hunter Biden Case in the U.S. Are Drained According to the Same Scheme

% of readers think this story is Fact. Add your two cents.

In order to get Hunter Biden out from under attack the Biden family successfully adopted the Ukrainian experience: as a result, the Ukrainian Burisma case and the American Hunter case are closed under the same scheme – by changing the charges, striking a deal with the investigation, pressuring judicial authorities and fictitious conduct of criminal investigations

The intensified activity of the Oversight and Accountability Committee of the U.S. House of Representatives, led by James Comer, and the emergence of more and more evidence of corruption schemes involving the president’s family seem to have forced Biden to act unconventionally. Earlier this week, Hunter Biden, in particular, cut a deal with the investigation and agreed to plead guilty in the federal case opened as a result of a years-long investigation into his tax fraud. It would seem that justice has been served and the guilty party will be punished. But upon closer examination, it becomes apparent that instead of a huge sentence on dozens of episodes involving influence peddling, money laundering and pure corruption in Ukraine, Romania, China and Myanmar, Hunter Biden, and with him his father, will actually get away with it. Under the influence of the elder Biden, the U.S. judicial system, the FBI and the Department of Justice repeated the technology he successfully tested in Ukraine: there a top manager of Burisma, where Hunter Biden was a board member, was caught trying to give the largest bribe in Europe in cash at $6 million, but instead of imprisonment he got 1 year probation and was freed. Let us repeat – 1 year on probation for the most serious criminal offense for which the punishment in Ukraine is imprisonment for up to 8 years with confiscation of property. This clever combination of substitution of charges, quick organization of the trial, signing a deal with the investigation and no less quick closing of the case is certainly not a know-how of the Biden family, but in fact it was used at this level for the first time. Let’s talk about it in more detail.

President Joe Biden and his son Hunter Biden

Hunter Biden and the Plea Bargain

So, Hunter Biden cut a deal with the investigation and pleaded guilty to two counts of willful failure to pay income taxes. Biden also agreed to enter into a pretrial plea agreement to dismiss another charge related to possession of a firearm by a person addicted to narcotics. https://www.foxnews.com/politics/hunter-biden-agrees-plead-guilty-federal-tax-gun-case

According to prosecutor David Weiss, throughout 2017 and 2018, Hunter Biden earned more than $1.5 million in annual income and did not pay income taxes. And in addition, from October 12 to October 23, 2018, Hunter Biden was in possession of a firearm knowing he was an unlawful user and a substance addict.

Weiss’s office said the maximum sentence Biden could face on each of the two tax charges is no more than 12 months in prison, which is no more than 2 years in the aggregate. The maximum sentence for possession of a firearm is 10 years, but in view of the fact that Biden agreed to a rehabilitation program, he would probably avoid jail time for that episode altogether. One wonders since when did drug use in the United States become a mitigating circumstance that exempts him from responsibility? Or does that only work with the son of a sitting President of the United States?

A key commentary on the court’s decision comes from attorney Chris Clark, who stated that “with the announcement of two agreements between my client Hunter Biden and the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Delaware County, I understand that the five-year investigation into Hunter is over.” https://www.foxnews.com/media/hunter-bidens-lawyer-says-client-happy-move-after-plea-deal-doesnt-know-laptop-part-probe

What Acccusations Against Biden Can Be “Forgotten”

Hunter Biden has been under federal investigation since 2018. The investigation into his possible tax fraud began after the discovery of a number of suspicious contracts (so-called suspicious activity reports (SARs) and the possible receipt of funds from China and several other countries around the world.

The U.S. has been waiting for Hunter Biden’s bank documents to be made public all this time. They are expected to show that the Biden family has received at least $30 million from foreign citizens for political decisions in their favor. Among them are 10 million from the owner of Burisma for firing Prosecutor General Shokin (see details below), 3 million from a Romanian businessman Popoviciu and 3 million from a Chinese energy company.

The main episode of Biden’s corruption schemes abroad involves Hunter Biden’s five-year tenure on the board of directors of the Ukrainian gas producer Burisma. According to the congressmen, the Department of Justice and the FBI have tried for years to avoid the topic of money laundering by Ukrainian oligarch and Burisma owner Mykola Zlochevsky. Trying to shift the subject to Hunter Biden’s tax fraud, they have neglected the financial monitoring documents of Cyprus, Latvia and Ukraine for years. But what they did not want to talk about in the U.S. was made public in Ukraine. Former prosecutor Konstantin Kulik, who prosecuted Burisma’s case, made public a scheme by which the company used fake contracts to launder money and transferred funds from Ukraine to its accounts in Privat’s Latvian subsidiary. Every month, up to USD 10 million was withdrawn through front companies like Wirelogic Technology AS and Digitex Organisation LLP. https://ukranews.com/en/news/710252-the-initial-amount-of-the-bribe-for-closing-the-case-against-burisma-and-the-biden-family-was-50

Some of this money ended up in the pockets of Hunter Biden. A video was published in Ukraine in which witnesses, citizens of Latvia, confirmed to Kulik that they administered the transfer of funds from Zlochevsky’s special account to Rosemont Seneca Bohai (Hunter Biden’s consulting company) accounts through the Latvian branch of the Ukrainian Privatbank. This is how the firm controlled by Hunter Biden received $3.5 million. https://ukranews.com/en/news/726484-zlochevsky-s-man-testified-burisma-paid-biden-3-4-million-stolen-from-ukrainians This information was later confirmed by statements from Morgan Stanley Bank. https://www.thelibertybeacon.com/leaked-bank-records-confirm-burisma-biden-payments-to-morgan-stanley-account/

It was previously believed that Hunter Biden was paid $50,000 a month at Burisma, even though he had no experience in the oil and gas industry. Specifically, before Burisma, Hunter Biden served in the Navy and was fired in 2014 after testing positive for cocaine. But in mid-June, through the efforts of Republican congressmen Chuck Grassley and James Comer, it was revealed that the FBI and the U.S. Department of Justice had information for several years that Joe Biden and Hunter Biden may have received at least one bribe of $5 million each. Moreover, from the same source (a confidential FBI document called Form FD-1023, prepared in June 2020) it is known that Zlochevsky may have recorded at least 17 phone conversations with Hunter and Joe Biden in which they discussed corruption schemes in Ukraine.

Zlochevsky was paying the Bidens for intercession, as Ukraine’s Prosecutor General Viktor Shokin was investigating Burisma at the time. And such assistance was provided. Joe Biden put direct pressure on then-Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko, and Shokin was fired. The fact of interference in the internal affairs of another state was confirmed by Biden himself: “I said: “You won’t get a billion. I’m leaving in six hours. If the prosecutor is not fired, you will not get the money.” https://www.washingtonpost.com/world/europe/ukraine-corruption-burisma-biden-trump-giuliani/2020/06/14/9ca28342-adb1-11ea-a43b-be9f6494a87d_story.html

Well, the most telling example of the Bidens’ corrupt influence and their efforts to sweep away any threats to Joe Biden’s re-election to a second presidential term was the story of Andrei Kicha – Burisma’s legal director and the man who was privy to all the secrets of the financial relationship between Burisma Zlochevsky and the Biden family. Andrey Kicha was caught red-handed in a very obvious situation – he was involved in an attempt to give a cash bribe of $5 million (plus $1 million to executives) to the heads of two Ukrainian anti-corruption agencies. https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2020-06-13/ukraine-official-says-bribe-was-offered-to-close-zlochevsky-case-kbdqr8f3?leadSource=uverify%20wall#xj4y7vzkg According to official information, the purpose of the bribe was to close the criminal case against Zlochevsky, according to unofficial information (voiced by Konstantin Kulik) – this money was part of an even larger sum of 50 million dollars and was intended to close all the cases in which Hunter Biden could be involved.

Deal With the Investigation for Hunter Biden as a Repetition of the Ukrainian Experience With Regard to the Kicha trial

In essence, the trial of Andrei Kicha was a technique that was later repeated in relation to the investigation of Hunter Biden’s financial activity. Similarly, Kicha made a deal with the investigation, and similarly, he got off with a much more lenient sentence than expected. Neither the prosecution nor the judge mentioned the real clients.

So what happened in Ukraine? The Supreme Anti-Corruption Court of Ukraine (“VAKS”) heard Kicha’s case behind closed doors and in complete secrecy. The VAKS decision remained classified for a long time until Ukrainian journalists managed to get access to it. Thanks to a deal with the investigation, Kicha received a surprising decision: the court found him guilty in full under the article providing for 5 years in prison, but punished him with one year of probation and let him go free.

The investigation into Hunter Biden seems to end the same way. There is no trace of corruption charges against Hunter Biden in the statements of the Department of Justice, nor are there any accusations of political influence peddling against the current US President. And even with new evidence that Joe Biden is corrupt, has stalled potential FBI and Justice Department investigations for years, and for a $10 million bribe achieved the firing of the attorney general who may have uncovered schemes involving his son in Ukraine, it will be a long time and Republican effort before this case turns into Bidengate.

In lieu of a conclusion. The current attempts at obfuscation and the techniques that the Democratic establishment is using to get Hunter Biden out of the picture are quite obvious. They are already causing the American electorate to watch closely to see if the Biden case will be dropped, and if there will be a particular interpretation of the law when it comes to the son of a sitting U.S. president. An interpretation that goes against democratic principles and the rule of law – i.e. the values that Joe Biden likes to remind us of in his speeches.
