Military plan to steal your preps
As many will attest to fire pit conversation, eventually the talk touches politics and world events at some point. This happened to my wife and in when we were invited to a neighbors gathering. My neighbor is former army and now current SGT in the national guard in NC. Most of the people at this gathering were National Guard. After the usual deployment stories I shifted the conversation to Jade Helm hoping to find out if anything was planned for NC. They were very shady on details and I was expecting this from them as they seemed very professional and mindful of OPSEC. Not intent to just let the conversation end on that note I started talking about Preppers/survivalists and conspiracies and this is where the conversation got me extremely uncomfortable. Straight up my neighbor said “the only prep we are making is buying ammo” “Most of us on base intend to just hit the Preppers homes and take what we need” Now this was an absolute shock for me and my wife to hear and coming from someone that lives directly next to our property was a major concern. Now because of the business I am in (ironically I own a survival training business) I hear stories from fellow preparedness minded folks that they fear gangs hitting there farms or breaking into there homes and stealing food or preps. This is the first time I have heard current military say that if the SHTF and their families need food they would resort to these means for survival. Absolutely disgusted my wife and I ended our night early and headed home.
Please my friends be aware that just because they are in a uniform does not mean they will protect you or your family and could possibly be a bigger threat then you could imagine.
