Biography Released by Major Publisher Sheds Light on Why Group of Travelers Stranded at Calgary Airport Hotels Could Have Been First ‘Santa Elves’

Santa has always been believed to have a group of individuals who helped make all the toys. These individuals are often known as Santa’s Elves and have a number of skills ranging from toy-making to electronic development. For a number of years, these individuals were thought to be fictitious but that might not be true.

“We have recently come across a journal that could be over 100 years old”, said a researcher who wished to remain anonymous. “That journal basically states that a group of travelers were left stranded one winter at a group of Calgary airport hotels. Those individuals were toymakers and decided to make the best of their stay.”

The travelers decided to use local resources and supplies to create a number of toys and other items for local children. However, the travelers did not want the fame that came from such a task. The travelers made the toys and left them on the doorstep of the local residents.

“People would wake up on Christmas and find this nice toy for their children”, explained the researcher. “People thought this was done by magic, but in reality it was the poor group of stranded passengers at the Calgary airport hotels. They were responsible and kept track of what they did in their journal.”

The journal was recently discovered when one of the airport hotels was being remodeled for the upcoming tourist season. The journal was buried in the backyard of the hotel where no one even knew about it.

“We think the travelers really wanted to leave a lasting impact on the town”, said the researcher. “It is even said that the hotels made toy shops for them to work in. We are not sure if that is true, but it sounds like something the area would have done at the time.”

It appears as if word of the travelers’ good deeds got out and traveled across Canada and the United States. That was where the idea of Santa’s Elves came about. A major publishing firm has recently jumped on the idea of the story and wishes to publish it in time for Christmas next year.

“This is an amazing story and I think people will love reading about it”, said the researcher. “I can’t wait till it is published and I know that there is talk that the local Calgary airport hotels that housed these travelers should be honored as historical buildings. It really is amazing.”
